I'm still working through getting the Heron setup correctly but my Spheroid's been fairly solid.
Although I am still having some dry hit issues with it, it's been my go to device ever since I got it.
At least when I start getting dry hits it's easy to just unscrew the top and rewick it or eff with the fluff to get it back running again.
I think I'm going to have to break down and actually follow some of the builds by Idabro or Quorax more precisely. I've been using my normal KFL coil process and wonder if that's been my problem. Not that I doubt their builds, I just get set in my ways and hate changing.

I put in an order for 150ml of the GVC 18mg vg heavy and a drip tip on Sunday and yep, sure enough woke up Monday morning to a shipping notice. Departed Frankfurt this morning at 05:45

I completely hear you. I'm at a university. So privacy is a factor here as well. As much as I love Apple products, managing them half ... with Microsoft is nothing short of an administrative nightmare.
I've been getting my spheroid set up rather successfully lately, now just to find a good liquid worthy of it. I've got radioactive in there now, and while it's good I don't see myself vaping it exclusively in the spheroid after this bottles gone. I've been dripping caramel wildwood primarily for months now, but I'm thinking sweets work better in the spheroid. Maybe peach or vanilla widwood.
The problem I'm having ATM with the Spheroid is it seems like I'm only getting juice from the bottom half of the tank.
I'll fill it up and then it'll run dry and the fluff looks dry at the bottom but when I go to fill it, it doesn't take that much juice to fill it back up. So the juice from the top isn't seeping down. I guess I'm still trying to get the fluff amounts set up.
I've also noticed and not sure if it affects anything is that my wicks when I insert them are standing up like a U but when I unscrew the top they've kinda twisted over the coil.
ETA: Once I can get my fluff consistancy down I can stop using the "controversial" setup in my Heron.

I use "about" .75" x 2-2.2" Then loosen the fluff slightly. Once you dial in your size, you can make a "cardboard template" of the size that works for you so you can just cut and fill. That's for Spheroid
Thanks for that! I'll give it a shot when I get home tonight. I've only got the fluff that came with the two units and didn't think to look for it when I placed my order on Sunday. I'll have to wait for Domo to get some in stock before ordering some more. In the mean time I'll hit up the aquarium store.
You need to use a bit less fluff (try cutting down by 1 cm in length (it's packed in too tight) and you need to cut the wicks a bit shorter so that they don't twist over the coil.
