I just finally put one of my Heron 510 adapters on one of my Heron's, have it on my SS 2.1/350 tube at the moment. So too soon to tell much other than the small form factor is great.

King P hmm.... up until today I've been using the Heron all-brass gpin. maybe there's a slight difference with the ss plate contact (which received today). I'll have to try again when I get home.
So here's a funny thing.I don't know how I ended up this way...I think I was trying to make sure I didn't drop my brand new lux afc. I do!
edit: btw... although I bought the lux afc ring to accent my heron and ss paps v3, I just realized that it's a good way to differentiate between the two Heron builds that I use daily. One with lux afc one with ss afc...
One vote for cliffy as the official poster child for HERON LOVE!

You shouldn't feel elated and confident that you scored a GP Paps X Ti until you complete the checkout process and receive PayPal and Vapourart confirmation emails. I haven't had it happen to me, but I've heard from others who had items in their cart but not when they made it to checkout.

All this GPin talk reminded me...I have another shipment of fluff for those that may be in need of a bit more or forgot to order
Perseas was also good to send a few GPins for those that may also be in need! I only have the longer ones left as I have sent a few already to some on another forum and here.
A few months back P sent me a PnB tool or two as I gave a couple away. I seem to have two in use right now and this one is from Perseas, I think he would like me to pass it on to someone that will truly use it and has the tools. I a bit ago gave one out to a fantastic Fam member and I know he's used it. The 3rd pm I get on wanting it will get it!
Anyway, let me know by pm if you need the GPins or some fluff. I will get it out within a couple of days. All I ask is that you PM Perseas with a thank you . This is all him!
PS - the GPins will come in a 24" x 24" box using 3 rolls of duct tape to secure as the postal employees seem to like to dig them out of envelopes and steal them for some reason. I have been sent pictures of empty envelopes with a small hole dug out all the way through plastic....seriously

BTW. Do the g-pins wear out quickly or do they tend to pop off and get lost easy? I did not know if I should have ordered extra bits for those " stupid , dang hands" moments I seem to have.....

No and no! they will not wear in our lifetime and the actual removal of the pin doesnt happen too often. In fact I have had them for months and decided to check for oxidation and only swabbed with a qtip because I was there.

Thank you so much , Idaho. I dont mind some maintenance, or even reg maintenance, its just when it becomes a daily chore that it gets to be too stressful. I need comfort and peace in my life.
