I have so much extra GP parts. How do you all organize your extras?
Posted this earlier but it's not like you could actually find it in this thread >.<

Everything is screwed on tied as tied can be

the base LOOKS good... somewhere you are not closing the circuit, though. The new v3 has a brass positive pin that can screw in now.Is that firmly seated into the 510 connector? I'm still guessing the plate isn't contacting your positive pin or the screw isn't contacting your plate.

Do you show resistance at the posts? What about at the 510 connector?

Shouldn't this thing work for the price without having to mess with it? I am so extremely ...... right now. I have multi meter I have a dna and a provari and joke can read anything.

I don't know what I should do with a plate or the screw inside since everything is tied and nothing wiggles or moves.

You have a multi meter to test it with?

If a coil fires up, then your ohm meter is crap. Use a mutimeter. Those box meters are flakey.

I'm with Yankee and Todai. Try with a multimeter if you have one. if you've been building for awhile (and you're getting resistance) try firing it?

or test your box meter with a different atty of known resistance?

I understand your frustration but we're trying to help and if we can't, Perseas will. It doesn't get much better than here.

I know you guys try to help I just don't understand what it can me as everything looks right. What should I mess around with the 510 connection? How can I even? It's a pin that looks like every other 510 connection. The one screw inside is solid to the pint and the other side is flush with the deck.

I just don't get it. Awesome first impression on GP stuff lol. Hope I don't have to send this back as I would really like to use my microstick with it.

Thanks for the help bud

Yeah the nice thing about using a multimeter is that most of them have a continuity checker. So that when a circuit is completed, the meter "beeps". You could try checking continuity between the 510 pin and the positive terminal screw. then, check continuity between the threads of your 510 connection and the negative screw. At least then you can narrow down which one is the culprit.

We're all rooting for you buddy! I hope you can figure this out soon!! :)

I know this is giving you some grief. However for some there may be issues, product, or just new to them. There are several here trying to help. If this was bought new, then perhaps you should contact the seller and see if an exchange can be made. Then you could eliminate a fault in the device. Frustration is understood, but people are trying to help.
See if it fires and test with meter. Contact seller and work with them. Easy warranty here.
