Noob question - What is a Gpin?

GPin is a connection that now replaces telescopic posts and eliminates any need for adjustment for the battery and the atomizer It is a 2 post system using a M21x1 mm x .1 brass Gpin containing a silver plated spring in between the two with a 15 microns silver coating to allow better conductivity.
This is a picture of the Gpin in the top cap of the GP X

Now here's one more ;) Noob Query: How do you open/dismantle the GPin? And why would you need to?
because I cannot sleep as long as I don't know if really is inside what's told that is inside...
I only trust in what I see :p

edit: as far as GP products are concerned: there has always been inside what should be inside

I get the whole "needing to know what's inside" thing. I'm not nearly mechanically inclined enough to be taking things apart, though. I took my paps button apart the other day. When I put it together, I put the spring in upside down. Had no idea there was a top/bottom. Spent two days wondering why it wasn't hitting consistently.

Wanting to know what is inside is one thing - putting it together again is the other. I'm better in the first one. Much better.

told my best friend my plan was to just not care about any living thing ever again. He is normally my friend who is always negative and snarky. He told me my plan was terrible and that in general people who do not form attachments set themselves up for very unhappy lives.

I asked him how he knew since he had not done that. Maybe it makes for a happier life :) or will turn me into a serial killer. I suppose he is right :)

wow, reading back, that is a really dark post. You do not have to send me pm's. I am not going to turn into a serial killer :) At least I do not think I am :)

I hit the 'LIKE' button, not because I 'liked' your post, but because I feel for you~! For my wife and I, our dogs really are our kids.

And while I have a great herd of three right now, the eldest is only 5yrs old, and the youngest is only 11 months old - yes, the last 4yrs have been very hard in my home (plus losing both my father in-law, and mother in-law). I so wish that dogs could have a longer life than they do. Even 12-15 years isn't enough. The pain of the loss can only be matched by the day-to-day joy of having them in our lives.

I know what you mean. Quiet is good. I have not completed the systems yet, so there are only a few fans.

When do we get to consider ourselves old? I'm pretty sure I have a long way to go, but I can tell you I feel much older than I used to be:)

I'm 43. I shouldn't feel old. My health, other than weight, is near perfect, as per my last checkup. 110/70 BP, no diabetes, cholesterol, etc. It's that I have a brutal job, haven't taken a day off in 2.5 years including working most holidays and lots of weekend. And the coup de grace has been 2 months of brutal cold keeping me stuck indoors.

I suspect when spring comes, I'll feel 20 again.

Wish I could say, I am 43. :)

Spring, always did give me a little boost. I think, it is actually tied to the basic instincts of 'mating season'. :)

Now I live in Florida. Spring? Hmm... Guess I have to find something else, to give me that little boost. :)

Ok since so many replied, I can't quote everyone.

To answer all questions, yes everything was touching, I know how to adjust telescopic pins and was just having some issues with getting everything flush and screwed all together with the kick without battery rattle. Using a Squape, I was able to adjust the pin of the Squape to obtain a connection with no gaps and everything flush. It is fully functionally now, now the quest comes to get a GPin for her. Thank y'all very much, love my GP family!
