I have the atty side of the PnB (one of my kids lost the mod side) any tips on that. Just sandpaper I presume ?
I'm interested in this technique, too. I love my KFL+'s...

Kebo makes a polished R91 now. As soon as my X gets here it is going on it.

Supposedly the polished one isn't released yet an the one claiming to be is a knock off.
They being kebo are releasing 1. All black 2. Polished 3. Big Russian.

I read somewhere that guys were using scotchbrite pads to take off the coating on the R91's. I can't remember where I saw it, but the examples looked good.
VaporDNA but they are sold outWhat was the vendor? Just curious as a place claiming only shop with them are fakes in Cali.
This one came a little scuffed up from INFRNL and they don't bother me a lot but my OCD sees them lol. He showed me pictures and I knew it was a little scuffed , he gave it to me for a fair price.
I've been vaping it for about two hours now. Not a single gurgle , not a single dry hit on my first build. I'm not sure why I see people posting about having issues building these and having them flood etc , it's a pretty simple build.

Between the brushed finish and large "The Russian" on the side, I couldn't use one. I would have to try and refinish it. I've seen lots of pics and they look good, don't get me wrong, but the finish and writing would drive me crazy on a daily basis.
I know whyI've had a few times when I had dry hits - this happens when you use too much cotton (I only use cotton), or if you place the wick incorrectly into the channels. This atty design is really great (in terms of doing easy builds - in terms of changing coils and wicks with a full tank - not so much
. It has the same issues as a Spheroid would have if you don't do the wick right or have the right amount of fluff.
I'll probably refinish it tonight after about 10 hours of owning it lol.
I've been building Sofia's and Killer 705s for a while, once you learn how to get those wicking right with the amount of cotton you need the R91 is a breeze.
