I swear by massages; I get one every two weeks...have for years.

Speaking of mood lighting and music....Hey thanks for the lead for the tweezers.
Speaking of massages...shortened version -
We have a place in Cabo with other couples, when my son was a senior in High School, he and I went on Spring Break. I took him to get a massage and paid for a happy ending. The lobby was packed when came out waiting on his reaction. The look upon his face was priceless. Good times....

Thanks Woods, he is such a fine young man, he is the one with the Nuclear Engineering degree. We had so much fun growing up together. I know D will see this but, he has even posted bail for me after an idiot spotting. Never told mom. Just did.
Here is my birthday card for him in a few days.

Sounds like a great kid. Wish I had that kind of relationship with my pops. Never take that for granted, but I'm sure you don't.

I hear ya.

I live a two minute drive from my father and we barely speak , we've just never been terribly close. He's a great guy , the hardest working person I know. I wish I had half the work ethic he does , he's a mechanic and has been pulling 11-12 hour days six days a week for 40 years.

Good evenings GP Peeps.

I have a Paps X V1.5 that I received this past tuesday. I know there arent many parts so putting it all together should be a breeze. But im new to mech mods and pretty bad when it comes to putting things together without specific instructions.

Is there anywhere online that i can find exact step by step instructions.

Read previous posts about shorting things out and other stuff and i really dont want to leave anything to chance. Sorta OCD that way... :(

Sounds very familiar Chad.... It's never too late to make that connection you know? My father and I were never close when I was growing up. Just two very different people, no common interests etc.
He retired several years ago and we started talking more, spending sometime together. Now, Me in my mid - forties, him early seventies, have coffee and great conversation several times a week. Shame it took that long, but happy it's there now.

Sent from the backwoods of Maine.

I was on once weekly for a long time, I get really deep tissue sessions to the point of mass soreness lol.

LOL nice story, I am strictly seeing a therapeutic massage therapist at a clinic for my stupid stuck muscles. I guess the trauma from the accident caused a lot of tight muscle memory.

Not really step by step instructions, but here is a review in where he breaks down the MOD. That should give you a good idea of what's going on. :)

I'll add to what Landman linked to. Scott reviewed the V1 in that video , so he doesn't show you the Gpin that will be in the top cap of your 1.5.

Here's a picture of my X 1.5 broken down all the way.

The top cap is on the right hand side. The Gpin is at the bottom broken down. It consists of the four brass pieces and the spring , which screws in to the piece of delrin above it. You'll see this in your top cap. The GP fork you got with your X is to help you unscrew the delrin if you want to take that and clean it.

The Gpin will just unscrew from that piece with your fingers. It's pretty easy to take apart but you might need something like rubber bands to grip the two halves to unscrew them. Don't be scared to take it apart , it's meant to be taken apart and cleaned. I take my Gpin apart and thoroughly clean the oxidation off of it once a week.

Hope that helped a bit.

Thanks. Saw that vid before buying the paps. Just didnt want to screw up the brass pin/battery connection. Mainly the adjusting of the pin.

Put it together and its beautiful. Especially coming from a eVic.

So as long as i dont hear the RBA gurgling/burning when not in use, and no battery rattle when i shake it, i should be good?
