Being in the US sure would be nice to DIY. I've just spent the last two hours trying to find a good cheap source in canada with almost no luck. I ordered from a place last week , only to find out this week they have no idea when they'll be able to ship it … ugh. Oh well , so I kept that order and ordered more from another vendor. 65$ after shipping for 120ML of 36mg is the best deal I can get in canada as of right now as far as I can find. It's crazy expensive compared to some prices I've seen in the US. I was going to order from one US site until I got to checkout and they wanted 45$ for shipping. Then I found another US site that wanted 40$ for shipping. Not an expense I'm willing to take a chance on if it's turned away at the border.

Oh no...I think DHL may actually deliver tomorrow. Crap. I took the wrong day off. Which also means i won't have batteries when it arrives. I MUST FIX THIS
FIXED! grabbed two aw 18490's and switched my days off. You only have one chance to make a good first impression. I hope the Heron likes me

Yet another example of Vapourart's outstanding customer service ...

I bought my Paps-X in September last year and fell in love. I would take it to vape meets in Sydney and force people to 'feel the buttery-smooth threads' :D

In January, the threading was suddenly rough. I did lots of tests and narrowed it down to the main body eXtension having some sort of problem. I emailed Perseas and he explained that the only possible cause was a drop. Even so, he offered replace the eXtension for just the cost of postage. I declined this very kind offer, as the problem was mine, not his. I said I would wait until I could buy a V3 cap with GPin for my Lux, and order it and the eXtension at the same time.

Yesterday, the Paps V3 cap became available, and I duly put in my order for it and a replacement eXtension.

This morning (Sydney time) I woke up to find Perseas had credited back the cost of the eXtension!!!

Thank you Perseas *beams*

Even though I was really was more than happy to pay for the eXtension, your gesture has made my day. I have a particularly ghastly meeting to go to in a little while. I will now arrive with a big smile on my face!

Just got done with my first build on my Heron. Seems to be wicking okay, and the fluff held about 4.5ml of liquid (which was shocking!).

Compared to my Taifun GT....

No question that the flavor is better. I feel like I'm drinking my juice. That's how flavorful it is. I suspect this is because of how reduced the "chamber" is. The downfall versus the TGT is that I find the TGT to be much easier to build with cotton balls. Getting the cotton setup right was kind of a pain, but I'm guessing that'll get easier with practice, so I won't knock it yet in that department. The airflow control is another MAJOR plus for me. I love that feature. The looks are astonishingly nice on my X. Its so nice to have the same finish for my atty as my mod....something I didn't have with my TGT. The X converter ring really makes it nice and seem less too. I'm also happy that the tank section is held on by O-rings (very snuggly, I might add) instead of screwing on. This allows me to match up the VapourArt symbol (I forget what its called.. Sorry P :p) with the GP symbol on my X.

Overall, its a beautiful, very flavorful, and very functional atty...albeit a little difficult to build for someone south of the learning curve that this type of atty may require for some (myself being one of them).

On a 1-10 scale, the Heron gets a 9/10. The only reason I don't give it a 10/10 is because it was a little difficult to setup, but once I get it down it would be a 10/10 without a doubt.

Sorry if this was a little sketchy for a first impressions write up. I wrote it from my phone. I'll do a nicer, more in depth version after a few days.

Thank you, King Perseas and Co. for this amazing device! I truly love it!

I love seeing all you peeps with your Herons and reading all the praise.

It was great to have the Heron a month early but the entire time I had it I was just waiting until everyone else could experience it for themselves.

In the last month I've grown to truly love the Heron and can't imagine not having one. Of all the attys I've tried and owned it's one of three that I could never part with.

Heron #243 checking in.... missing the screws to hold the coil in =/ I sent an email to Domo. Any one know what size they are so i may test this out?View attachment 317282

I am terribly sorry, that shouldn't happen! The screws are M2 with 4 mm length. If you have a Spheroid with replacement kit v3 installed, they are the same. Use these screws till our American reseller sends you the missing ones.
