Idaho, hope the whispering from the docs was all good stuff!

My PAPS X converter doesn't fit. Actually that's not entirely true - it fits in 500 mode but it won't screw completely onto the threads of the 350 or 650 tubes. At first I thought it was the Gpin on the Heron being too long so I tried each tube extension on its own without a battery. Turns out it's the converter, leaves a gap of about 1.5mm. BUMMER!!!

I've emailed Domo to see what I need to do. I'm sure I'll hear back shortly.

BTW, is the V3 Spheroid replacement kit essentially the same as the Heron? Because if it is, I'm buying 10 of them. Now. OMG it was soooo much easier! When those thumb screws come loose on me it drives my bat$%!+!!!

For those that are not big on FB here is a website where they sell them and other styles as well. Going to have to order a couple for my up coming travels.

I want one of those cases. I checked the website out a while back when Perseas had posted some pics on his FB page, but they only had the camo which isn't really my thang. Will have to take another look. Thanks!

WOW, thank you very much for the compliments! GP PAPS X LUX is in production. GP PAPS X Ti too, but only 100 pieces will be made for now.

On another note, do you like the mod wallet of my friend? Is it practical for everyday use? Did you receive a small leather pocket with it? I suggested Kyriakos should make this addition for small parts like wire, drip tips, etc.

Pretty much yeah, I think the V3 kit is a worthy upgrade.

I was toying with the idea of getting it before, but as you have probably figured out when I try and take things apart they tend to break. It's a curse of mine. But yeah, I agree if it's basically the same thing then I'm totally down!

Argh! I just can't win

I just got off the phone with Blake regarding my converter ring not behaving properly. I am now able to get it working in 350 and 500 but the threads still catch on 650. If I play with it, I can get it to screw on ok but not every time. Turns out he has a similar issue on his own in 350 mode. So while I'm on the phone I'm playing with the tubes, screw on, off, catches so I back off, try again and it goes, and so on. Now the damn thing is stuck!

In the freezer now. When that doesn't work, will boil it. Still haven't packed.

Great customer experience, I mean, Blake was right on it!!! And I looooooove the Heron, vapes a dream and the AFC is amazing! Hoping I can get it apart so I can use my Heron on my vacation. I'll be super bummed if I can't.

Me too, it looks sweet! But with the crappy exchange rate right now I think I need to pass.

The freezer worked and I was able to get the converter off my 650 extension tube. But now the tube won't screw into my regular X top cap. I may have hurt it getting it off although I don't see any obvious defect. Blake said that the SS is pretty tough and not to worry too much about putting some muscle into it, but maybe I just don't know my own strength.

I can go back to vaping the heron though

And I just bought the V3 upgrade for the Spheroid

Check here, they come in more than Camo - not sure if you have FB but he is taking order for another run as we speak. Bummer part is it appears to only be on FB.

Have used Heron 2 days now, but was not completely satisfied! Single loop silica with the lid on. Got a bit dry hit and could not get it to work properly. Now I have taken the lid off, use double loop silica just as I do in the spheroid and is now in vape heaven.

This is one of my favourite ways to set it up , just like the Spheroid.
