Also, whats the significant difference between the v3 and papx 1.5 other then the tubes? The switch?

It is a completely different device physically from diameter, tubes, stitch, top cap, feel, etc..
I am sure someone will be more specific as I am mobile now. Feel free to check my blog.
Oh, and much luck on the trade. Hint: it won't happen on this thread!
Once you familiarize yourself a bit more the answer becomes easy and you are better off on a short wait from Domo or VapourArt.

I'm doin' my friend. Going to start building some doors for the inside of my home. We do have doors but, they are the last step in a remodel and I have been procrastinating a bit. Love to work with wood but this is a bigger project than I originally thought. I think I was showing off to D when I offered .

I receive my Paps V3 #216 yesterday, and I can't stop vaping on it with my Kayfun... 20ml at least of my famous Vanilla Custard & Cognac !...
My first serious mod in pure meca, and the legendary smooth switch is my new addiction !!!
I take the 18350 SS tube and the only little regret, is I have to change the Gpin each time.. Is there a longer one to work in both configuration ?

I read daily this topic since 2 months now, and I just registered to thank everybody here. Reading you while waiting my order was delightful.

And thank you Perseas, it's nice to use your beautiful object, it's like "vibrating" in the hand, so nice finish, so nice sound.. I like it !!!

Have used Heron 2 days now, but was not completely satisfied! Single loop silica with the lid on. Got a bit dry hit and could not get it to work properly. Now I have taken the lid off, use double loop silica just as I do in the spheroid and is now in vape heaven.

The topper is an extra part not necessary for every build.

Seems like P and crew did their best to match up V3 and Heron serials eh? That's pretty awesome.

We did it for some orders, but we cannot guarantee it for all, it is not so easy as it seems.

Me too, it looks sweet! But with the crappy exchange rate right now I think I need to pass.

The freezer worked and I was able to get the converter off my 650 extension tube. But now the tube won't screw into my regular X top cap. I may have hurt it getting it off although I don't see any obvious defect. Blake said that the SS is pretty tough and not to worry too much about putting some muscle into it, but maybe I just don't know my own strength.

I can go back to vaping the heron though

And I just bought the V3 upgrade for the Spheroid

The tolerance is only 0,02 mm, if something doesn't screw well, don't force it too much. If our American reseller is out of stock for the needed replacement parts, inform me please.

Regarding your question, the size and the brand of batteries you use in each configuration is the answer.
EFEST and AW haven't the same length in the same mode and the existence of AW 18490 is a third factor. We have provided a longer pin inside the plastic bag with the springs to cover each case.

Thanks Perseas. I did had to force it to get it apart, it got stuck w/o much effort though while trying to work the threads. When I spoke to Blake last night he suggested trying a tiny bit of Vaseline to try & "loosen" the threads. So I will try that once I have a mount to grab the goods.

In the meantime I am able to use the converter in 500 mode with no problems.

I told Blake I'd let him know how things went, then we would decide whether or not to replace the converter. He is apparently out of spares but I'm not in a rush as I'm leaving town this morning for 10 days.
