Yes, but I think it may be by design. I have to back off the atty, adjust, re-tighten the atty. I like it that way! =)

Yeah. I have to slightly unthread the Heron then adjust the afc then tighten it back up. I'll have to check but i think there's a washer in there that keeps it tight in a sort of set-it and forget it manner. After i find my preference i'll appreciate the fact that i don't have to position it everytime i take it out of pocket

Yeah makes sense. Thanks guys!

The 18650 v3 tube and Gpin are staring at those pictures and whimpering for their switch soul-mate as my Lux 2.5 brushes its luxurious new Gpin hairdo and snickers at the v3's bottomless bottom-less heartache.

I'll admit I attached the Lux 2.5 switch ever so briefly to the v3 tube and took 2 hits off my Origen, just to calm her nerves. Scared the cojones off of me, doing that.

I'm not a huge fan of logo's either. But i like the Aeopile insignia and the fact that it references a part of history that actually relates to the product. It's poetic and tastefully done....IMO.

I type this while drinking an energy drink with Monster plastered all over it

I almost always dislike logos. However, the machined engraving on the v3 is well done, simple and subtle. A very nice change from most of the other engraving out there.

Exactly. I see so many mods with crazy engravings and pictures and words plastered all over them and think … … good thing there's the PAPS.

A forum member elsewhere commented on the new GP logo saying it was to busy...LOL, apparently he's been living under a rock considering some of the hieroglyphs plastered all over many of the devices available.

A little while back myself and someone else bought some voltage meters on a whim. I think it was Akdare??

Anyways , a LOT of dremeling and some gorilla glue later I have my DIY battery checker. Not including the old charger the only cost was the voltage meter , which was under $2 with shipping.

That used to be a 2 bay charger that got hacked to bits. Cutting through the circuit board so I could keep the spring loaded connections and solder points for them was not super fun. Circuit board dust really stinks FYI.

I really hope there is vapemail for me tomorrow... I'm finally home and both my packages show no activity since the 18th ... If not tomorrow then it'll have to be Monday :p

Note: No, I'm not trying to undercut Blake in the Hi-Chew dept. but they are very popular here and was on super-special recently ...

The cap is held in by an oring so I was able to slowly get it out with my nail. You can also use a small screw driver to take it out from the hole...
the Heron, yes? I just put my finger in th tank from the bottom and pushed the cap and bell out of it...

Just my 2 :2c:s on the Heron: it's a great gaping device - I cape 0 nic and am more than happy with it (my wick is not a piece of art, but simply works). But the two things I like most on my Spheroids are gone with the Heron:

first, the screwed on parts - they can never open when using long drip tips or just pressing with my thumbs against the tank from the sides (happens sometimes with the Heron)
second, it constantly happens that I close the air holes with my thumb - on the Spheroid I do not have to have a look where these are

But - these things will be gone with Spheroid V3, I guess - so maybe I just need more time to get used to it :2cool:

It seems I am the only one being confused by that, right?

Most atomizers with an AFC ring can be build to produce clouds, neglecting flavour and taste due to high temperature. I am not a cloud chaser, I am a chain vaper though and I appreciate a good throat hit, a flavourful draw and a dense vapour, so these qualities we strive to give to our atties. People will decide if we did it or failed, not me :)

Believe me... you did it! :D

That was good! I can't believe, my ELA #3, is now at 250 days and counting. :(

One reason I think I'll never get one....
They may be great, but that's just a ridiculous wait time.

I can understand waiting that long for something that's completely custom and hand made, but not for a mod that's like all the others.
But that's just me... :)

Spheroid v3 will keep the bottom air holes, the prototype that Idaho showed is not the final version.

Perseas' last comment regarding the V3 is that they will keep the air holes where they are on the v2 - so, one less thing for you to worry about :)

Edit: ^^^^ just like he said :)
