Can't say I agree with that. I think Rip is just having fun with what he does. He has 88k subscribers because people like his videos and he's just keeping it going because it works.
Did not mean to offend you. And since 88k subscribe we are wrong and are just foolish enough to have watched the video. Bad comedy. What is worse is that we have an opinion.

Thanks. I'm not a fan of polished tubes, which kind of leaves the LUX versions in limbo for now. A PAPS X is probably #1 on my want list as I have a need for both 22mm and 23mm PAPS with extra tubes... and for the first ones anyway would like to have the latest updates if they are possible on them. Brushed in other materials would be eyed with interest if they came out with them though, including titanium. Otherwise I'll probably start building the PAPS herd from the brushed SS versions mostly, maybe even earlier versions if they come up for sale, are still in descent condition and not priced crazy high. I have a lot to learn about them, but know the family here will teach me right. ;)

If I could have only one mod, it would be the PAPS X. I love this thing (v1 with a v1.5 top cap). I also have a Lux, which is beatiful - but there is something about the X ...

I was at a vape meet in Sydney on Saturday. The X is always widely admired on such occasions. I have bored everyone to death with my praise, so I now just tend to place it prominently on the table in front of me :)

 I could not agree more with you. Tonight hanging with my wife, we were talking about this. She has been using one of the X's we have and can not decide between her PAPS or the X's.
Now just talking about it with you, I have given myself diabetes trying to decide between the two again.
GP is just solid.

The X is my very first high-end mech and I love it to death plus when I bought it off the classies I didn't realize til later that it was SN #0016 which is my favorite number, it's the day off the month I was born. I take my X every where with me and it shows but I love the character it has developed as it tells an important story of my vaping journey.

It's pretty much impossible to offend me. Like everyone I have an opinion on Rip , it just so happens to be a little different than illus's and there's nothing wrong with that.

I think that on top of having fun Rip is just extremely passionate about what he does.

Not taking that from you- We all have an opinion that matters. When I began vaping I could sit thru a Trippers vid but he wasn't like this then.

Now I can't. Sure, *he* may be having fun but it's not my idea of fun. Having to sit thru 8 minutes of babble annoys me to no end.

I turn to reviewers like Scott who can hold my interest from start to finish.
Subscriber numbers mean absolutely nothing to me.
Back when I started with the RSST there was a specific question I had which no one could answer & none of the more popular reviewers with a large subscriber based touched on what I was looking for. I found that info from someone who had less than 200 subscribers.

Rip is for a certain audience. I'm not it but that's ok with me.

Hell yeah, I've dropped my X quite a few times on various surfaces and not one dent or chip. I do have scuffs and scratches that can be buffed out but I choose not to. Well, not yet at least. :p

Man, I haven't dropped mine yet but they slide and slip , etc.. #19 is my workhorse and #9 is my lover X. I dig the character as well. Funny, they mean much more that way. I can polish and refinish a bit but, I can not nor will attempt the GP finish. The buttons are easy and fun to polish up but the tubes, cant match. The last couple days I have been contemplating to beg Team GP for a touch up but, will just bring it to Greece/Italy shortly. We might end up staying and I can work for GP as their janitorial team.
GP Janitorial Team. I need that Tshirt :).

 We have talked about it in the past, Scott is a great guy off camera as well. Funny and loves to laugh at himself. His bloopers are priceless. He has no issues telling people what he thinks of them if deserved and just cracks me up when I am not learning from him.

It amazes me how many folks drop their mods... some of them constantly from the posts I've read various places on ECF. Over a year into vaping I have a bunch of mods... not a single one has ever been dropped, and I run several of them every day and night since I am up all day and all night far more often than not. Maybe I didn't learn how to do the vaping thing right since I have no local friends who vape... I was pretty much self taught. So I must be doing it wrong, right??? ;)

Some of us are a little clumsier than others.
Sadly I've got a real nice ding in the bottom of my brass JGG from it hitting the pavement last week. Got out of the truck, went to slide it in my back pocket and missed...
Eh, brass with battle scars isn't necessarily a bad look.
Haven't dropped my LUX...yet.

While on Rip-trip, I can't tolerate that guy. I find him crude, verbose, uncouth, unkempt, foul mouth and everything else a reviewer shouldn't be. Off screen he might be a gr8 guy to hang around with - but that's not what I 'see'. I think similarly of G/green too.

But that's my opinion.

I don't have a problem with Rip. He's just for a certain audience that likes his style of silly, off the wall, humor.

Personally, I think he's full of 'it' when it comes to builds and such. He's definitely biased about many things, which is not something a reviewer should be. As far as his builds go...they're neat, and I've tried many, but he makes them out to be revolutionary things that will drastically change your vape in different ways, etc. They're not. They differ slightly, but not very noticable.

GrimmGreen, however, I do like. He's a little awkward, but he is a very respectable and kind individual whom I have had many conversations with. Same goes for Scott and Todd.
