I don't know the WHOLE back story, but I guess my feeling is; why deviate from what the original manufacturer intended? After all, THEY designed it, not us!! 
It's their job to design a product for us to use to the best of their ability, so I guess I feel like I'd be doing a disservice to P and the guys if I tried to deviate from that.....that's just me though....I can tell you that my Spheroid is vaping a treat with the fluff, so I can only imagine how good the Heron is with the same setup!!\

I know Chad doesn't have respect from a few, and that's fine... People are entitled to their opinions. I have never had anything but pleasant conversations with him however, and consider him a friend, and I don't like to see friends fight.

I respect different ideas. I also appreciate the design of the Heron and its intended usage by the designer and manufacturer. Because of its design using fluff, it has become my most favorite rba, I think some of you know that by now. LOL
I will never try to use it any other way, but thats me. The most wonderful thing that I have discovered by using the fluff is there is no leaking and you get a decent warning in vape before a dry hit happens.

I personally started coming around in the beginning of the year during the talks of the Heron. When Q, Idaho & Chad received their test units it was really cool to see all the different ways to build the Heron. When Chad posted the fluffless build and glass tank I did think it was nice of him to think outside the box. Yeah, it wasn't designed that way but what mod or atty doesn't get played around with outside of the manufacturers design. A lot of attys at first weren't disigned for cotton but people did anyway. I'm not trying to take any sides just from my perspective I thought it was good to see all the options and pushing the limits. I personally only use the fluff because I do travel often and love not having it leak while in my bag. If I do recall after Chad's initial posting he did start posting a disclaimer after he was told it wasn't right. What other company has such a community where the modder will hand out test units and have them post publicly their experiences, not many and the reason why I like it here. This is just my .000002 cents (since the US dollar is so weak). Idabro, Chad, Q, Yankee and others I enjoy learning from you all and love your company I hope we can all move passed this. What family doesn't have drama. We will all bump heads in some way but we're all grown ups. Cheers.

I never told you guys how my Hubby ended up with Bunji, the lion. He was in a bar one night, drunk, and met a dude who knew a dude, that had a toddler lion he could not handle.
