Congrats Bill! My parents will be celebrating 48 years together later this month. They still act like teenagers in love, it's fantastic. I'm very blessed at my age to still have them here, and happy as ever.

Finally got my first Heron built. 28ga, 4 wraps, and decided to try the 2mm ceramic braid (ReadyXWick from rba Supplies). Built just like the Spheroid for this attempt, single one-sided loop/lasso, no cotton topper installed. 6mg Castle Long loaded up.
So far so good, it's wicking nicely, flavor through the roof. Seems the throat hit is a little more pronounced. Not sure if it's the larger airflow, but nicotine delivery seems to be increased, got a little dizzy chain vaping 5-6 hits in a row, lol.
Still tinkering, will update more later. Very, very pleased so far. I'll be trying a cotton build next, with the topper.
Edit: Ripped out the ReadyXWick already. Full details over in the Heron thread. Now using cotton, and it's wonderful! I should have listened to Idaho and yankee from the start about the cotton route, lol. Loving this vape now!

Geeze, I've been neglecting my duties to the GP family today. I Just got a surprise knock at the door about 20 minutes ago (something after 1:00PM), and it was DHL. Last time I had checked tracking it had just left the HUB (at 5:25 this morning) in Cincinnati, OH... and it made it my door in Sin City already. Lots of love in this package... make that LOTS OF LOVE! Thanks once again to P and Milo and Team VA. WOW.
So I checked on the package they sent on the 9th Post/EMS and it has been picked up by USPS tracking this morning finally, but with no idea when or where it is. Means another package will be here soon though, probably early next week. WOW 2.

Dont forget that you can adjust throat hit from positioning the coil closer or farther away from the air hole. I prefer my coils to be 1-1.5mm from the top of the air hole and centered!
Have been on the hunt for a 26650 mod but haven't been able to find anything that looks as sexy as my Lux, has a switch like my Paps X and has my favourite lazy feature of the gpin - so hell yeah, please put me down for a Paps XXX
As soon as I switched to the KGD with the topper cap, the TH is right back to perfect.
