Yes, I modified it for more air. After using it for 24 hours I realized that the draw was tighter. I was freaking out, thinking I did some bad buids. I constantly have 2 filled and going and 2 bases built and ready to switch out. One was performing great and the others felt like they were clogged. Broke them all down, soaked, scrubbed, dried and replaced all orings and little delrin washer. Put them all together and still the tight draw. Noticed the only difference was the mouth piece. My third part Sotong mouthpiece for drip tips had a wider tube and the light turned on.

I remember readind somewhere that someone made the holes larger on the intake holes and on the contact slit , so I did that, took out my drill widened one set and crossed fingers I did not destroy it. Voila, what a difference on the lower resistance builds, more than double the cloud and great taste. So I did 4 bases, and 4 center pins and Im in heaven.

I guess if I EVER sell one of my Odys I will have to disclose the modifications as they might freak out.

Pris... considering you modified your beloved Ody to balance your performance on the X, this is a very high compliment that you pay to Perseas. My eyes POPPED when Jojo read that to me out loud. I actually STOPPED her mid stream..... "She MODIFIED the ODY!!!????"

Congrats! I'm so thrilled to hear this.... and READ it. From performance, to "soft supple" engravings, to smooth threading and seams. And the balance of weight? Yes, I'm having a moment here. Enjoy!

Never thought about that, Yes I guess it is a compliment to Perseas......... Thank you Perseas for making such an amazing device that I had to go and modify my Odys to keep up with the X.

Do you mean the SS or LUX version? There is a serial number list for the SS on the Vapourart product page, but 0049 is missing from the list. I saw a post within the past week where someone claimed that they had LUX 049 (I remember because I have 050), although it might have been you (which could be why you're asking).

The SS I have the lux with #49 [emoji4]

I have an X SS switch that is a #49... but there is a 0 in front of the 4 and a 7 between the 4 and 9.

The X LUX is #038 though.

Lmao so you have 479??? Lol I'm willing to buy a switch and trade Someone for their #49 sorry it's a sf niner OCD thing I have hahaha

I too am absolutely loving my new X. As I stated in another thread, I put off buying an X for a long time due to the 23mm OD, but I must say every 22mm atty that I've perched on top of the X has looked REALLY sharp (even with the normal AFC ring and not the X Ring)!! Right now I have my Heron up on top and it's vaping very nicely! I am so used to using AW 18490's in my V3's, so it's nice to be able to use a Sony VTC5 in the X and not have to worry about changing the battery as often....

Perseas and crew just continue to impress me with their excellent engineering....I can now certainly see why people prefer the X over the V3...it is a wonderful device!!

YES!! I'm still not convinced about the X Ring over the AFC. I kinda dig the look of it. I'm running it now with the X but I'm thinking of going back. Either way tho looks good.

Still 100-150.00 less than the "High End" Titanium Devices I have purchased in the past.
And, I would bet my world that the quality of GP craftsmanship will exceed them by far.
The others also were only one sized tubes with no frills switches and buttons. The GP comes with segmented tubes for a variance of battery sizes, the best switch in our world and a Top Cap with AFC option, silver plated contacts beautifully hand polished by very skilled Polishers.

$500.00...is an easy pill to swallow for the best.

Hey everyone how's everyone been? Been MIA for the last 3-4 weeks been just so busy and exhausted from work doing these 12 hr. Shifts 6 days a week that I haven't had time to keep up with the thread. Noticed however the announcement of the TI which is quite exciting. Kinda have mixed emotions about it cause of the very limited quantity and such high demand for it ya know. Gonna try and get my hands on one non the less, just not gonna get my hopes up that's all. So is $500 the offical price tag on the Ti?
