Oh, didnt see that post from Yankee, I got a SS X. I did not even expect the holster, it was a great big surprise. I like surprises........ well the good ones........ not the : oh damn, a flat tire, or surprise you did not pay enough taxes, or surprise you find out from a mutual friend that the person you love, whom you hadnt heard from in a week decided to take a job in Antarctica and has no plans to ever return

I've been looking for a nice 20x1 threaded dripper for my X lately, but here's the thing... Unlike most drippers, I prefer a single coil and a very small air hole, as I prefer a tighter draw and do not do lung inhales, so most of the 'popular' drippers don't work well for me. I have an Origen, which allows for a single 1.2mm airhole, but just want to try something a little different.

Saw this one over at Cloud 9 vaping in the UK, it's the luxe mods Hybrid Dripper. Anyone ever try this?

Luxe Mods Hybrid Dripper - Cloud 9 Vaping

I like the simplicity of the deck, and the subtleness of the design, and would think it would look smart on the X.

I had been looking at that one a few weeks ago, did not notice it was a hybrid. I like single coil drippers with small chambers and not so giant stock air holes. Seems most drip atties are designed around the real low resistance double, triple, quad coil enthusiast. Let us know how you like it. I also liked the clean simple design and NO logos, yeah

Todai, I have that! With the chocolate mod. And the steel-lined copper set. I love it but am never recommending anything again after Spyro's debacle with his drip tips.

I believe he was one half of Versa & when they went their separate ways they both continued to use their existing designs - so you may be able to get one in the US if current Versa still makes them.

(But yes it is a good size deck & an easy set-up)

I'm away from home until Saturday but I will try to remember to put it on my X then to show you so you can see if you like it. I assume it will work with the X converter ring?

By NO means was this meant as a complain. Its a wonderful PLUS, an nice extra ...... To complain about a gift is bad thing...... and I really try my best to be a good girl and stay out of trouble as much as I can.....
To quote the Infamous Mae West :When I'm good I'm very good, but when I'm bad I'm better

Speak freely, it's the asylum here :D (My dear lady this is just a humorous post, I mean no disrespect to you by any means).

Seriously, the GP PAPS X SS Edition comes with a single holster with cover, which we don't sell it alone yet. GP PAPS v3 comes with single holster without cover and GP PAPS X LUX & Ti Edition come with double holster with cover and a hidden pocket which are offered separately as well.

Yes, would love to see a picture, and yes, it would be used with the X Converter Ring. I assume Cloud 9 ships to USA? I didn't get too far into their site.

YOU have a Bug-a-Salt?!?! those things are kick-A**!!!! I saw them on "Outrageous acts of science" and I knew that I had to have one!! (hasn't happened yet, but it's cool to know someone who uses one!) :)

Yeah I was one of the clowns that got in on the original black and yellow preorder, then waited months for them to collect all the money to have them made in batches. Very poorly ran company that made promises they couldn't keep several times, but the product works as advertised. You can buy them from Amazon and other places now... they even have a limited edition silver model for a few buck more. Not much can survive a hit from 2', at 3' it's more challenging. With just a pinch of table salt they do no damage to anything in your home, leave nothing to clean up except what you shot, and it does not make a mess of it. So there is no gore, just a dead bug.

Sweetie, You are a better man than I could ever dream of being...I got the itchy's just reading your post!! although I would have NO ISSUE with the Gecko - sounds like we have a general common thought (except I don't want to eat them)...
that bug a salt looks sooooo cool

I'm a guy, grew up on a working ranch, hunted all my life and spent as much of it as I could in the wilds. So critters have never bothered me no matter how big or deadly. When I worked the topaz mines on weekends I constantly had to deal with scorpions and rattlesnakes, just picked them up a tossed them aside. Never got bit by a rattler except once when a teen. I got stung by scorpions all the time, but to me the stings were nothing. I camped in a Whiteface Mountain geodome tent, and every morning had dozens of scorpions on the door to shake off before reaching out for my boots to also shake out. They got into eveything, so plenty of them made the trip home with me. But my ex and son were not affraid of them either, so no foul. They did give me the evil eye when they'd get a rash from poison oak/ivy/sumac or nettles... and I never did. ;)

Cloud 9 is one of the top vendors in business. They do ship to the US. Lisa has worked very hard to make it a special experience for everyone. Not sure if the thread here is still active but, there was one for some time before she was sick. She is back with a vengeance working at her pride and joy.

I've been waiting for months for the new drippers that By Leo is coming out with. I have 2 of their Dripper Pro's (14mm), the new ones will be 16mm and 22mm and be a different build using resistance wire only instead of the DP's NR-R-NR.

Intrepid, that's me. 316SS is good stuff, but Titanium is better (ask your man, he'll confirm that). ;)

96 pages away from having to start a 'Part 3' thread. You all sure like to talk. Sheesh! I mean, I hardly ever say anything here, so don't blame me.

Welp. Impulse buy. Luxe Mods RDA and matching drip tip ordered from Cloud 9. I went with the 510 version, thinking that if I didn't end up liking it, it would be easier to sell or loan out with the 510. That, and I can try it on my non-GP mods.

The simple build deck, small air hole, and understated looks sold me on it. I think it's going to look very sleek on the X. Now we'll see how quick it gets all the way over to the Best Coast.

My first piece of British hardware. God Save the Queen.

Might be worth checking out the Senio dripper as well. Meets all your criteria. I had one but it just wasn't for me. Sold it awhile ago.

Looked at that also. Like the look better also. However, he's not taking adds to the list at the moment it seems. Do you know how often he does batches?

I need to get on the list when it opens back up, because dayum!
