I've never tried yarn, only german silica, cvs cotton and kgd. So far the KGd has been the best of all worlds. Lately more threads are popping up about using rayon, the newest "it thing" maybe?

Yeah, I just ordered some KGD....excited to give it a try as I've heard nothing but good things....

Boil. 20 minutes minimum for the SnC. No less. I've tried this. 20 mins seems to be the cut off.
I have enough here to knit up 10 blankets.

The cellucotton 44060 is pretty awesome, I like KGD too. If you want to try some send me a PM. I bought a box...

I just snagged a pack of Chaddo cotton. Manufactured in Japan. I'm happy using organic cotton balls, after a boil. But figured I would try it anyways. I will report back when I get it.

Yeah it looked very similar. It was $8 a pack and it came with like a big square it looks like. I'll know more when I have it in hand.

Chaddo and Koh Gen Do are just both brand names. It's all Japanese organic cotton.

Yep. Probably should have researched that a little better. Lol. It appears to be just like KGD but they give you less haha. Oh well.

Perseas, any plans for a Greek organic cotton? Washed in the Aegean Sea, by hand, by Karolos Papoulias and yourself personally? $25 for a nice pad size?

Looked at that also. Like the look better also. However, he's not taking adds to the list at the moment it seems. Do you know how often he does batches?

I need to get on the list when it opens back up, because dayum!

You can befriend Senio here. He generally gives a short heads up before a list opens up. Before the Heron, it was definitely one of the sexiest toppers I have seen on a Paps.

Speaking of SnPs. I just tried for the first time my new SnP with a Sophia. It was very tight at the bottom [no pun intended] and I notice that the Sophia upper body is scratched. That's puzzling to me. How, with the o-rings in place in the SnP, could the Sophia get scratched?

that's curious to me I can't even tell you how many sophias I have and they go everyday in the SnP...I have never had one scratched up because of the SnP.
