You should look into the lazy Susan stand. Idaho got us hooked. Now we have his and hers. I'll get the pic later. This man does BEAUTIFUL work. Hands down. I can't remember the guy's name off the top of my head though.

Just a fantastic man and wood worker. D and I also have two of the large Lazy Susans and had him add 4 Piccolo holders on the top shelf instead of the Qtip holder and 10 22/23mm holders on the middle shelf.

Both of ours are full of GP, this picture is of one a year and a half ago

That's him. Fantastic work. And the bearings I wouldn't even know are there. I only have ONE regret. And Idaho you know what that is.

Sorry Idaholando, but my eyes are not what they used to be, is that a metal lazy susan? Very nice..... I would love to see some nice stands etc in materials other than wood...... Nothing against wood, but wood swells and contracts , plus should there ever be a spillage accident, its easier to clean.

Right now Im using a pair of heavy crystal candle stick holders. I will see if I can find a photo.

Thanks for the suggestion gents. I already had his site bookmarked (probably have all of those who make them BM'd), and I know some custom makers that don't have web sites.

I don't want a desk/table top display stand though. Have no room for one large enough for my toys in the bungalow. Besides, for the GP's I want them tucked away in their own cubbies in a nice wooden box, probably with at least 3 drawers to leave room for growth, with all their Herons, Spheroids, SnP's, spare tubes/switches. I have large and nice parts organizers to move all the spare parts, etc to over in storage that I can just put in the DIY desk or elsewhere.

If the bod was up to it and I had room to set up my woodshop again I'd just make my own. Have lots of exhibition grade woods stored that would make a beautiful home for them. But the HD shelving units and Corvette uses up too much of the storage garage I have nowdays. Reminds me of the George Carlin gig about "Stuff". ;)

I've been getting rid of stuff ever since the divorce a dozen years ago... and am still buried in "good stuff". LOL
