Good morning all you GP'ers out there!! :D

Well I had a mini-revelation last night. With the help of some people here, I re-fluffed my Herons and used a lot less fluff than I was. Previously, I was using about 3-3.5"....now the problem I was running into was that my tank would get about half empty, and I would start getting dry hits. So last night, I re-fluffed them and used about 2" this time. I wrapped it a LOT looser than I had been. Well not only was my problem resolved, but I am getting MUCH better vapor production now!! I think that using less fluff is allowing the juice to be released more effectively, which in turn is wetting my wick better.

I just wanted to say thank you to you guys who recommended that I use a bit less fluff...it made all the difference in the world!! No more dry hits, better vapor production, and a tank full will last me a lot longer now!! :D

As P said, Less is defintiely more in this case... :)

Ti? Hmm.. Last I remember..

We are all hanging out in a great park... Having some GP Family fun!

There are a few of us, with our lazy butts sitting on a bench. The bench is crowded, so no doubt, I'm taking advantage of that situation, and sitting on someone's lap. :)

Last I looked, the bench looked something like this...

Bench: Yankeebobo, Cucco, Devilution2010, landman2k1, Ace Wop, StrikeIII, VapinBill, Wolfmeat, illus101086, Woody7781, BILLB OKC, sedge

Zbeast0, Spydro, and cliffy15 get up and down to stretch their legs a bit............

Am I remembering things right?

Well, I'm off the bench again for now. Until I assess some damage. We got hit with some nasty storms last night and I discovered water where it doesn't belong. Looks like I may have a leak somewhere in my roof. I started making music for my daughter with the sounds of the water dripping into buckets. [emoji14]

3-3.5 was like a storm cloud. Just WAITING to release that moisture. :)

Oh no. I'm sorry to hear. I certainly hope you don't find too much wrong there.
The good news? Music to kids reinvented. :)

Haha exactly!! :D

Not sure what prompted me to use that much....I was wrapping it WAAY too tightly, that was my problem....probably could've saved myself a lot of fluff if I had done this from the get go!! :)

Morning GP land! Heading to Delaware with the parents today. Taking an exam for the state correctional officer on 7/8. Hell of a bday gift lol. Gonna be beachside all week!

Good luck, enjoy, and be careful beachside. Too many around here don't wear clothes. And you know what that means.

Hopefully its just a small and easily fixed issue :)

Making fun out of bad situations is the only way to live. I'm sure your daughter enjoyed it.

I'm sorry to hear that Strike. I just woke up and I still have to survey the outside to see if I find anything more unexpected than fallen branches and leaves. I hope your assessment goes well and it's not too bad.

Secret Summer Santa Contest

A GP Family Forum Member wishes to sponsor a 'Secret Summer Santa Contest', to show their love and appreciation for the incredible love and kindness, exhibited by the 'GP Family Members' on a daily basis. The contest will gift five winners, with a GP Paps X 1.5 + X Ring for each one of them.

The first 15 replies from different posters with a quote of this post and a number from 0-15000 will be combined in a certain way to show the winners who will be chosen from their posts in the previous main thread.
The results will be announced up to one day after the 15 first responses.

Welcome to Part 3 and enjoy!

1st winner is Hrathor with post #7010

(7777+888+11111+421+14853):5=7010

2nd winner is newyork13 with post #6233

(7861+365+14228+4907+3803):5=6232,8=6233
Because the number is a decimal between 6232 & 6233 we offer a 20% discount to StrikeIII for any future purchase (except Ti Edition and minus shipping) from Vapourart's store.

3rd winner is Pathology with post #2580

(1000+22+1998+6877+3003):5=2580

So, I'm sitting up vaping on my heron and X yesterday evening. Decided I didnt like the build, wrapped up a coil, started taking the old one off the heron. I wrapped the leads of the old coil to the screws so close, I had to remove the screws completely. Put the screws back on, went to reach for something else (not paying attention to how I was holding the X) and a screw fell off the deck. Now, I have a building station setup in an area that has a concrete floor. In fact, the paint on the floor is some kind of speckled gray paint.

Needless to say, once that screw hit the floor, it was lost for a moment. Immediately, I freaked out. Even though the area is well lit, I couldn't find it. Grabbed a flash light and looked; still no luck. Grabbed a flood light and looked; still no luck. D*mn! Pulled up the vapourart homepage and started looking for a replacement screw; still no luck. Then, all of a sudden, the ZEN in me came out. Pulled the chair back a little bit from the table/work station, grabbed my v3, sat down and just vaped for a moment. Looked over slightly to the left behind me, and low and behold - the heron screw. With a sigh of relief, I slowly picked up the screw and laughed to myself. Finished the build and now, my heron/X is hitting just the way I like.

So that I don't have another episode like that, does anyone know if additional deck screws for the heron are available for purchase? Heck, if they're in a kit of some sort, I'll buy the kit or whatever. Maybe they are available and I over looked them in a moment of panic, but does anyone know if those screws are available for purchase?

They are not available in any kit but I believe they are a standard size that you should be able to find at a hardware store. Perseas will have to confirm the actual screw type though.

They're probably metric screws and they might be hard to find in a US hardware store. If Perseas can tell you the size you can probably find them online. I've ordered metric screws from the UK before, it just takes a little extra time for shipping.
