I'm on vacation this week. The first in 9 months so I've been acting pretty adolescent in my last few posts. I apologize.
I take my thermos of leftover, morning coffee to make it through my grueling commute home at night. Anyway when I saw the 26xxx mods being released I thought "geez, what's next?" I saw my thermos on the counter and imagined it as the next step in mods.
I do applaud the innovation of the mod builders in trying to bring out the next best thing. But I can tell you that I am the happiest I have ever been with the GP gear that I have. The amazing little Spheroid, that I recently received, is simply an incredible little beast and I've really come to appreciate the efforts of Perseas and the GP with this innovation. I am incredibly grateful that most of the GP gear is something that I can actually afford. And I am eternally grateful that Perseas has setup a US vender so that we don't always get stuck with big shipping costs. It's great to be able to pick up small items such as top caps, springs, floss, etc. and not add in shipping cost that is more than the small item you are buying. This is one of the things that always griped me with another mod, that I tend to favor, from Athens.
I figured you were joking, it was just so strange to see my thermos!
Im with you on the larger batteries, GP gear, and the Spheroid. Theres so much great stuff on the market that Id like to have but if I get a 26650 mod then I need to get 26650 batteries and perhaps another charger for 26650 batteries. Then I would want larger atomizers to match my large mod. The same thing goes for 17mm mods Id need a whole set of gear. A while ago I decided to try to impose a filter on my vaping purchases that included only 22mm mods and atomizers (I resisted buying the Paps X because of this, but Im glad I caved). Ive tried to limit my purchases to GP gear but I break it regularly. Since I got the Spheroid Ive been eyeing the Piccolo and regularly searching the Classifieds, but Im trying to resist the urge of going down that road (that probably includes getting more Spheroids). The same thing applies to a MicroStick or similar mod Id need more Spheroids. I truly love my 22mm and 23mm mods and when I flirt with the idea of getting larger or smaller mods Im going to try to remind myself that the money would be better spent on a Heron, because I really do like the Spheroid (and it looks so good with GP drip tips). Ive purchased all of my GP mods from Vapourart, but it has been nice to go to Domo when I need something small (and they have it in stock).
Please continue to act adolescent and congratulations on getting away on vacation for a week! Im taking the day off on Friday (going to Michigan to pick up my daughter) so hopefully I can unwind too.
