Who knows where this over size mad trend is going to go?

Now watch, I thought that moving from my Ego twist to a Vamo would never happen. So I guess I'm just a sheep to whatever is in fashion. But I do still feel a bit odd holding a mod in 18650 mode. The last time I tried it I almost knocked out one of my front teeth!

The Microstick is not really a mod that lends itself to many changes. I did get the extension but took it off. I will say that it is a great marriage with the Spheroid. And it's really a very simple mod. I'm certain that Chel designed it after using a Spheroid.

Prior to buying all the PAPS it was fairly rare for me to even run any of my 18650 batts in any of my mods, mech or VV/VW even though most of them could be ran 18650, some with button top, some with flat top (a PITA to have to have both). I just liked small, compact, easy to carry more than big, bulky, heavy, etc. So '350 and '490 batts ruled. Batt life didin't matter to me, I have lots of batts and since I am almost always at home with some always in the chargers the supply of them never runs out. Plus I have several USB and AC pass thru's. So I will draw the line at the PAPS X's as being my biggest daily go to's. No way I'll ever get the 26650 stuff for sure, probably none of the box mods (although I may still get a ZNA30 just for S&G), and probably will never get any of the bottom feeders. Fact it I'd be perfectly content if all I had was 4-5 of my PAPS and the Piccolo, the Don, the Donkey and specific toppers for each of them. Sure would be nice to shovel all the unused stuff out of here like I have done with so many of my other things.

That Odin looks great on the most beautiful mod ever made.

I really wanted to like drippers, I just don't though. I've decided not to buy any more(unless GP makes one eventually). I always end up disappointed. I did pick up a Reo SL and AFC Cyclone that I absolutely love. Maybe I just don't like large drippers.

Probably because I rotate so many different liquids every day/night I prefer to drip and have done it from day one vaping. I did the tank thing, those with RTA's, did RBA's with tanks for much of my first year vaping, then pretty much set them all aside and went back to just dripping (I have a lot of RDA's). So it's a given that I will always drip, but the Herons/Spheroid were a surprise I didn't count on. They get used daily... I don't see that ever changing. And now I have RDA's made just for the PAPS, another I will use on them, so it's like having the best of both worlds for the GP gear.

I'm having a hard time doing just that thing. I've got a minty Astro and a Launcher that I can't seem to give away on craigslist. At my price you think that there would be somebody who is itching to dump the Twist and step up to a mech. That is originally over $400 in those two mods.

And I was just looking at all of the AGA-Ts, RSSTs, IGOs and misc. other stuff I have piled up. I'm thinking that I'll just find one of those vapers that are sucking on a CE4/Twist on one break and then smoking an analog on the next break and donating the stuff to them. Maybe it would be enough to put them into vaping full time.

@Iowa Gal: congrats happy grandmother :)

@Cucco: Smile received and multiplied thousand times back to your way!

Just putting this out there ... does anyone have the ability to bore out the bell of my original Heron to the size that the current Heron bells are at?

My updated bell should have arrived at GP team's site but I know vacation has commenced.

I have one Heron working perfectly but would like to use the other.

I'll pay for shipping and any incidentals ... maybe I could throw in a bag of hi-chew? =)

Ask our American reseller to send you a Heron bell mentioning this post, so you won't have to wait us to return to the office :)

Just lengthen or reduce the coil legs to move it to the side. I felt moving to the right was better due to the well wall being close. Build it head to head with the origen and test.
With dual coils I have found that I also barely crack the air.
I'm considering dual quad triple helo burrito coil at .11 ohms on a 95 watt vv box mod later tonight. I'm expecting it to be the bomb... Wait.

    But how's the flavor?

Good Morning, JP . You on the road this week?

I was supposed to be, but my trip got postponed. I am a field service guy for a medical instruments company - and the 2 machines I was supposed to go fix miraculously started working again! So the 2 facilities decided that they didn't need me after all!

I still have to go do preventative maintenance on the 2 machines at some point, but I am stuck in the office for the time being! :)

Cucco hope whatever you were getting an ultrasound for worked out well..and what's up with the cold gel:confused: I've been such a busy little beaver and a couple more weeks of craziness but am thrilled to announce I'm a grandma again.....Alivia was born yesterday at 12:38pm 8 lbs 5 oz 20" long and joins her brother Jackson 10 and sister Ella 3 (not real sure about this whole thing yet). Hubby and I grabbed my mom and went for a visit last night. I'm exhausted but sure enjoyed holding the new little bundle.

On the new wicking material...I'm not going to try it, a good friend sent me some of the rayon and I haven't even had a chance to sit down and give it a test drive yet. It's sad...I have no time to take care of my mods/attys these days but a couple more weeks and I'll get there.
Congrats on the new bundle of joy! How exciting for you!
Def try the rayon it is fab!

    Hello my GP Family! :)

I hope everyone is having a great day!

I received a shipping notice for the ohm meters I ordered from usaohmmeters. I hope I like them! I still haven't taken the time, to verify the readings on the expensive one I purchased from vaperev. But, I am pretty sure it is wrong.

Another wicking material? Please say it isn't so! :)

I had an ultrasound today. The gel wasn't warmed! What's up with that?!

Perseas: Hello my friend. I hope you are enjoying your Holiday. Sending a smile your way! :)
Oh my cold gel sucks wicked bad! Hope everything is ok!

As for wick...don't worry. Next week bamboo will be in order.

So my Paps X took a rough tumble onto concrete, tip first, as it was standing on an outdoor table and my tiny tyrant (daughter) wiggled the table... off my Paps X went. Minor scuffs on it, but the drip tip took the brunt of the fall and subsequent damage. Looks like I will be needing a new one :(

I have, until now, used silica wicks as my permanent wick. I know it works and gives good taste. It's easy to make a new wick when it needs replacing.
I've tried my way with other materials as wicks, but did not get as good a taste as I do with Silica, so quit trying.
The latest 'thing' is cellulose wadding (rayon). I made a coil on a 3/32 " drillbit with 7 wraps 28AWG Kanthal A1 which landed at about 1.2 ohms. Mounted it in my Spheroid, pulled a little cellulose wadding through the coil and put it on Piccolo.
Wauw! Great flavor from the first puff. Used it a few hours to my satisfaction before I made the same coil / wick in my second Spheroid and two Herons.
I thought I had the best flavor with a silica wick, but now seeing that it tastes much better with cellulose. I think this is gonna be my coil / wick in all atomizers from now on!:D
