more  back. It is nothing any one of us wouldn't of done :). You're the best.

Hello my GP Family! :)

I hope everyone is having a great day!

I have been very tired this past week. I suppose, due to the anesthesia. I didn't used to have that problem after surgery. But, I'm older.... :)

BTW: Have I mentioned lately how much I love my GP Family, and my Xs?

Hey girl. Well snap out of it!

Cucco's To Do List.

1) Stretch
2) Healthy lunch
3) Go for nice easy walk, breathing deep and enjoying the fresh air and the notion of feeling ALIVE.
4) Drink water
5) Rest

:)

Hate to tell you that it's ok to take a week and detox. Especially considering what you've been through. So shake it off, take even a few more days if needed. And get better. :)

Still in vacations, good morning to all :)

A few months ago I read a quite explanative article exploring the associations among the Big T, FDA, the fear mongering announcements of the mass media, the politicians and why the latter are greatly affected by the flourishing vaping industry.

Cucco, my dear lady, as they said, pay a visit to your lovely woods for a few days to replenish your energy. Nature is our nature :)

Much love back to you!

Sadly this is the very exact baseline for regulation. The governments are just tired of not receiving their share of this industry.
The government gets a large kickback in the form of cash. Some direct by the manufacturers and others through the act of lobbyists. The government kicks some down to the various organizations underneath (FDA, etc). So when more smokers walk away from Marlboro's and the various analog brands available to market, this raises eyebrows as sales fall.

In fact, I would not be surprised if Big T has been on the government's back side for a few years nagging gov, only to get little reaction. Then suddenly seeing their sales fall, silent threats may have raised the governments' eye brows. "We're losing money. If you don't do something, you will lose your money too".

Greed drives this regulation. And all the efforts and pleas from us and CASAA, this WILL be regulated. And if thats not enough, then they will tighten those regulations further.

I DIY, and have gear that I could more than comfortably work with for the rest of my life. I could squeeze in one more order of Nic. But what will happen when import/export bans are imposed? The disguising of this can be flashlights, but eventually, my fear is some "companies" will be banned from import/export as known e-cig suppliers.

Land of the free my .......

Exactly Bro.
The article should emphasize that the Federal Government's loss of income. Since 1998 there has been more than 75 million given by Big Tobacco to the US Govt.. This money directly affects not only the Govt but, also the pockets of direct congressional recipients for their personal agenda's. It is gross.
This is why I always post the question if Big Tobacco is an arm of the Federal Government or is the Federal Government an arm of Big Tobacco?
Please consider the "trickle down" effect as well. Not only will e cigs affect Big Tobacco's bottom line but, their employment, tax base, stocks, capital investments, voice, managements pay checks, etc. but, it will also directly affect the medical industry. The pharmaceutical companies that produce drugs that treat tobacco related disease, hospitals, insurance company premiums, etc. will also suffer in the pocketbook. They too are big players in the US Govt's mainstream of cash flow.
The story goes on and on and is a shame. I try and refrain from the everyday conspiracy theorist as it walks the fine line of paranoid delusion and reality but, the ameture Govt watchdog in me wonders a bit more if the Gov't wants a unhealthy sector in society in trade for the almighty dollar. Unfortunately, Currency is the "new" power of society leaving "knowledge was power :(" being the new quote of the day.

Thanks for the article P.

Thank you bro, you're right! There is one more bond between politicians and Big T. In 2000, the European Commission filed lawsuits in New York against Philip Morris International (PMI) and other companies, accusing them of smuggling cigarettes.

The case against Phillip Morris was dropped in 2004, after the company agreed to pay to the EU and the member states €1 billion over 12 years and to make additional payments in case of future seizures of its genuine products.

http://www.europarl.europa.eu/news/...xperts-urge-MEPs-to-confront-tobacco-industry

Recently the European committee prepared a new directive to categorize ecigs as medicines and tobacco products, depending on the nicotine level, so the Big Tobacco and the Big Pharma will share the market legally, because we are considered patients by definition.

http://www.europarl.europa.eu/news/...h-Committee-backs-agreement-with-EU-Ministers

Their flawgic has 2 pillars: nicotine is a medicine or a tobacco product. Both definitions are wrong. Except if a potato is a medicine or a tobacco product just because it belongs to the same plant family with tobacco. Good luck with it ...

I gave up on the CC and am back to KGD in everything. I was having to many throat issues with the CC. I've not had issues like that in a few years of vaping. Cough, phlegm...I could huck a loogie 112 ft against the wind . I felt like I was back on the Drum when I woke in the am.
I enjoyed the wicking and know many enjoy the cleanliness but, it's kind of nice to be back.
I also got tired of chasing the rayon down the topper hole in my Herons as the wick shrunk horribly.

No hacking in hewing here with CC, probably due to the better part of over 50 years of long lung hits with cigs, pipes and sometimes c-gars. Because CC shrinks I over stuff my coils, not hard to do and when it shrinks it's just right. Way easiler than peeling KGD pads part, especially from both sides for just the center cotton. I leave CC longer through the cotton tops in the Herons than I do the KGD and don't get dry hits. So like with most things, to each his own. ;)
