Grant does as much business as Grant wants to do to still leave the quality time with his family he wants. Can't fault that, family should come first. As has been said MANY times, he is a very nice man who within the constraints of his available time does all he can for his customers. This is a small operation, a hobby that exploded. He doesn't have the staff to handle more because he doesn't want more. Live with it or buy elsewhere.

Vapor Day's are all about unicorns to some extent whether they are from Grant, from Perseas, from Blake, from Rob, from any business that holds them. If you like a product in limited production and want it you either play the game, do without or try to catch them on classifieds.
I actually tried not to be so blunt. haha

Well said Yankee and Spydro .
Spydro, what kind of bottles should I order to steep my GVC in?

The GVC arrives steeped and ready to enjoy. However, they get better with age. I keep my juice in the bottles he provides and stick them in a dark cubby. I have a wicker computer station that has a door that hides everything. Well, that was from when the computers didn't look like big screen TVs. I now use it as my vape cabinet. It's warm and dark in there. So I hide them in there (no not from Jojo - she knows where they are).

OR, you could decant them into a dark amber glass bottle. That's what I DIY in. But no need.

Couldn't agree more about Grant, just a sweet guy.

Hey Bill, I have well over 300 of these glass bottles I can send out in amber and cobalt with droppers or caps if you decide you would like to transfer your juice.

Personally like Yankeeballs, we store in the original bottles and leave in a dark space.
We do occasionally quick steep in our UC on a 30 minute cycle when needed.

Hope everyone is doing fantastic today :).

I use Boston bottles Bill, both amber and colbalt in 15ml and 30ml mostly, but could do smaller or larger. You just adjust the water depth for what you're running. They are heavy enough they don't move around, tip over in the UC. And for one shorter cycle I also take their caps off, leave the lid off the UC to breathe them, although that is probably not required and just a for good measure thing. All eliquids should be in glass in my opinion. Those premades I buy get put in glass if they don't come in glass.

+1
I have the same UC with you, bought last year from eBay for 100+ € and I confirm how well it handles everything and yes, glass colored bottles preserve the flavour, the taste, the aging, like a good old wine. I have kept 12 months GVC in glass bottles for special occasions.

FWIW, I've had a thorough discussion with Grant about long term storage of his largest bottles, trasferring them to glass, etc. And I follow what long experience has taught him... I keep them in the refridgerator, same as I havce for many months with other brands in larger bottles. He keeps his own in the freezer, but he rec's either. It won't freeze in either place, but it is a bunch easier to meter when it's not as cold as the freezer would make it. Currently I'm working out of the 100VG bottle, and it's a pretty hard pull on a syringe to get it out. I use 15ml glass bottles at a time kept in my joose cabinet.

One year ago, today, I smoked my last cigarette.

No, I haven't kicked the nicotine habit (yet), but for 365 days, I have not inhaled the other 4,000-7,000 chemicals (depending on which source you look at) that are in a burning cigarette. (What's in a Cigarette? - American Lung Association)

I feel much better. I can breath. I don't wake up and spend 30 minutes or so coughing. I don't smell of cigarettes.

I have cut my nicotine use from 36mg/ml to 12mg/ml. Hopefully, I will be able to cut that down even more in the future.

I never thought I would quit smoking. I don't think I would have if it weren't for Hayden (my 5 year old grandson). If he hadn't told me he didn't want me to 'turn blue and die' I know I would still be puffing away. Thank you Hayden!

While Hayden was the impetus that got me started (using Blue and then White Cloud), it is the quality gear that I have purchased over the past year that has kept me from going back to cigarettes. That, of course, includes the Paps Xs I have along with the Heron and Spheroid.

So, along with Hayden, I'd like to thank Perseus and the entire GP team for making some of the devices that have helped save my life.

I have met (on line and, in a few cases, in real life) some of the nicest, most compassionate, caring people I've ever known. All of you in this thread, of course, fall into those categories. Thank you all for the knowledge you share.

Thank you too for the appreciation, your time and for supporting us. You're very kind my friend :)

Perseas does NOT handle vapor days like others that irritate me. You pretty much know, every 2 weeks there is a nearly full restock. It isn't like some of these where you wont know unless you haunt a Facebook feed all day everyday and then hit f5 over and over to hope to get 1 device that is randomly available in tiny quantities. Not even for a limited run device, but for regular product. The attitude of "I have enough followers to buy my expensive mod, and dont need you or care about your experience" is nothing short of disrespectful no matter how you spin it. Perseas doesn't do that at all. Which is a huge part of the reason why i like GP.

I really am not trying to start a flame war or get people all bent out of shape. I know many of you are loyal to Grant, and I'm not saying he's a bad guy at all.

IdaBro, I didn't go as crazy buying bottles as you did.

Kudoo's for the generous offer to Bill.

P... they really are a great little UC as we've both found out. Mine gets used for what UC are normally used for too, and it does every job very well. Don't know how I made it to a ripe old age without one at home.

Funny thing is the bottles had juice in them from MOV(before I found Ahlusion) and Ahlusion at one time but are cleaned and UC'd. I always thought a nice way to go green would be for companies to issue bottle credits much like many states and soda bottles. Not sure why they don't.
I have a hard time throwing them away even though my DIY lasted about ohhhhh... 7 minutes a few years ago

With what shipping rates are now days, recycling is not the option it once was. Remember the days as a small lad getting Windy out (my horse), riding to the closest thing that could be called a store 14 miles away picking up pop/whiskey bottles that had been tossed along the little highway, and trading them in for 22 ammo, maybe an Ironport at the soda fountain, some penny candy or something to give other family members or friends.

well I just ordered 2 more quarts of 100 mg nicotine since my supplier is having a 15% off sell and I had $49.00 in store credits.
That will make 6 quarts in the freezer. Should be enough to last me the rest of my life. Screw the F.D.A. and government (BIG TOBACCO) taxes.

EDITED TO ADD: I also store everything in brown glass bottles.

Spent a lot of bucks setting up my DIY lab, but the best $100 spent was for the UC.

I hear you! I think I am just impatient and the waiting to just taste my mixes to see if they are passable is my undoing. I'm definitely not giving up just yet especially since my vape budget has been reduced due to the imminent cohabitation plans with the fiance. ;-)

I will definitely have to upgrade my UC. The one I have is a little dinky, No heat, and only has 8 minute cycles. Then again it was bought to clean atties (and engagement rings), not steep juices.

Once I have a couple of ADVs I think I will be much more satisfied with DIY. Thanks to Landman, I have a proven recipe on deck. :)

I really want to work on a rainbow sherbet. Not your typical but one I remember from my childhood... Orange/pineapple/raspberry (may even have some watermelon in there). I've been wanting to vape some Shurb but that seems to be rather difficult to get...

edit: but I have some OOO rainbow sherbet on the steep to see if it'll get me by. :)

I have Shurb. It's not a typical rainbow sherbert, it's more on the lemon lime type. It's a great juice though. Has to be vapes very hot to really get it. Definitely a different, great juice I will always have in rotation.

Nothing will curb that impatience like a good UC, or only buying fully aged liquids. Where size matters in a UC for aging joose is it's wattage mostly, not so much it's physical size. Having heat is not important because just the movement of the molecules as the bath runs creates heat. I use the heater in mine for other jobs mostly, not for aging joose (except sometimes tobacco's). A longer timer is more a convience thing than a neccesity. I like my 30 minute timer because I don't have to worry about the joose getting cooked in 30 minutes, or having to babysit the UC to keep resetting a short length timer. Some use UC's with hour timers to do joose, but may or may not set the time to a full hour. You don't want to cook your joose.

DIY can be a tangled web of never ending learning from T&E until you find each specific recipe that works for you. And over time your tastes may change and you may need to mod a recipe. But once you've got a base of different recipes that work for you, DIY can become very easy, and you will never be without your favorites unless your supplies to make them runs out. (If you get off your .... and just do it Spydro!!!)
