Ugh. Tried to help someone on Facebook who wanted to know why, while subohming, his button gets hot. Some idiot comes in and tells him "there's no reason you can't sub ohm a Paps" and "replace the spring with copper coax". Then come to find out, guy doesn't even OWN A PAPS. I've about had it with social media today. Lol. All I've seen is drama.
Perseas, I think the site needs a disclaimer on all product pages that cannot be missed on why you do not endorse sub ohming.

Sub ohming is potentially dangerous when somebody ignores Ohm laws, he has fake batteries, etc. Instead of writing a dry warning, I putted in our ToS, whatever I could think, regarding the safety of a subohm vaper. If I missed something, feel free to correct me.

Thanks. I told him you don't condone it and such. Also have a loose description of why, but always a bad apple I suppose......then went to check on the site and couldn't find any mention. I was thinking in the product pages for the mods, GPin, etc. I feel as though it's easily overlooked. There are those who purchase the mods, whether second hand or otherwise, and will never see your stance on the issue. Me personally, I like to research and familiarize myself with any mod or atty I purchase, but cannot say the same for everyone else.

Using copper coax in place of the spring? I think that this might be related to the Darwin thing and survival of the fittest, maybe.

I've observed that many subohmers are aware of other people disagreeing with subohming, and at the same time they continue to have a vague idea about Ohm, batteries, mAh, capacity, C, etc, because they select to follow the trend fast, instead of knowing what they are doing beforehand. There are B&M stores which introduce people to vaping with builds of 0,15Ω maximum on unregulated devices or regulated ones with Chinese DNA boards ... While many sub ohmers are serious and knowledgable, the ones who know nothing tend to have a reactive response to disclaimers, even to friendly suggestions as you found out. For these reasons, I chose to put it as a term and condition of sale and not as a short disclaimer. The real problem is the ignorant subohmer not the subohming :)

Thank you for the suggestion, I will think about it.

Agreed Perseas. And a lot of the modders aren't making notices to consumers. Thanks for listening.

I still consider myself in a 'younger' generation (in my 30's), but I was taught Ohm's Law in high school. I've also been a licensed 'Ham' (amateur radio operator) for many years, as well as learning basic electrical work at a fairly young age. To be honest those who learned about electricity through vaping scare me. A few "get it", but quite frankly most don't. While it is possible to subohm safely, a lot of those folks still don't understand their batteries or see how close they are to toeing that line between safe/responsible & downright dumb. Some are dancing on the other side of that line just waiting for Mr. Darwin to teach them a lesson they sadly will never forget. Personally, I don't subohm. I don't have any need for it & can get a very satisfying vape without even coming close to those limits. I respect those who do so responsibly & with the necessary knowledge. Again, it's sad that those folks are not in the majority.

Firestorm as soon as I read the black and blue cheesecake was going to ask if you liked it.. But you answered my question!

I am with you I have not found a great blueberry cheesecake! I am steeping an organic blueberry cheesecake right now. And I seem to mix my own juic and like it better. I recently mixed a pumpkin pie with grants and omg! Fab! Also got a Carmel apple, but got a nutty caramel mixed those it's perfect!
And a wonderful person here on ecf sent me some Swedish fish it has steeped very well that is being loaded up soon! To kick out one other flavor from rotation!

I put the ITC Black & Blue Cheescake in an RDA wicked with some kind of flat Japanese cotton (I have so many different kinds that I've purchased, been gifted, and included with Classifieds purchases like Hi-Chews that I can't tell them apart). It is sweet and fruity and I don't think that I could bear to vape it all day, but otherwise I do seem to enjoy it. I taste a hint of cheescake that I hope becomes stronger after steeping. I'll probably continue to vape it in small doses at home in a dripper and continue to look for more KFL-worthy ADVs.

I have DIY supplies and flavors and I'm quite meticulous on the rare occasions I choose to mix, but I really need to put forth more time and effort and shelf space with some good recipes. I haven't really loved anything I've made, except a cranberry juice that I got sick of after a few weeks of constant vaping. I have a Vanilla Custard mix that I've been steeping for a number of weeks that I want to try when the color deepens a bit more.

Let us know how your organic blueberry cheesecake turns out when you try it!

    Thank you kind sir.

(And delete this post if you see fit, no offense taken, I wouldn't want to be accused of "advertising" in your forum.)

Here's some of the e-cig related stuff that I didn't have posted. Thought you might enjoy it.

I love cheesecake vapes, but haven't had one yet that is right. That balance of the creamy cheese and graham crust. Yaeliq is decent, but it's not as strong as I would like it to be and the others just don't seem to be like real cheesecake to me.

Dayum they are cheap! And tons of flavors. I'll check them out too thanks!

Yup. Heisenburg (the guy who runs it) is a really awesome guy too. We've chatted a few times. My personal favorite is his Ripe Strawberry. I've heard a ton of great things about his Lemon Chiffon, a few of the Horatcha flavors, Peary Passion, Mandarin Peach (think peach gummy rings) & some others that are slipping my mind at the moment. I haven't been over to his site in a while, so I don't know what his current offerings are, but he'll take care of you. Just tell him that jerk Oz put him on your radar. ;) His liquids are definitely not what you'd expect from the cheap prices.

Haven't heard of them, but looks like they have a few nice flavors. I'll give them a shot. Thanks!
Highbrow Vapor has been around for a long time and has had a thread here on ECF for quite a while with a very strong following. Their juices are top notch. They make many of their own extracts and began doing so way before others started doing that. The prices are great and the customer service is fantastic. Their English malted toffee is phenomenal as well. So are many of the others.

Question for Kayfun users. My v3 is in the mail and will be putting my KFL+ on top. As or right now I'm running the KFL at 1.4 ohms on my Provari. In everyone's opinions, what the optimal ohms for a KFL on an unregulated device (v3)? I'm thinking the 1.4 I'm current'y running should be good.

I build my KFLs at 1.3ohms and I enjoy them exclusively on unregulated mechanical mods (primarily a Paps v3 LUX). I enjoy the vape when the battery is fresh at 4.2v (~13W) all the way down to 3.7v (~10.5W).
