The day my youngest daughter flew out last year for her freshman year of college, I sat in my pasture alone and cried.
I often think how lucky D and I were then and now to have successfully raised our 3 best friends.

So nice.... Obviously, you guys did a great job. :)

As Strike said, it's the luxe mods dripper (510 version). He also makes a 20x1 threaded version, which I have on the way from the UK.

You're likely to be hearing more about Luxe mods soon, as Andy has now signed a deal with VapeRev to be the exclusive distributor in North America.

Very nice looking, how does it perform?

Thank you.
I won't get personal publicly but, irony is real.
Growing up in a hard nosed Italian environment you know, I left home at 15.
I had a very troubling and physical childhood. Tempers flared and there was only one way out.
At 17 when my oldest was born I knew I had mountains to climb.
The irony - About the time I was 35 I was accepted for a Master's program/Social Sciences. I learned more about myself than I would ever imagine. I learned that the source of my tension and grieve as a child, my father, turned out to be a great teacher and I was the student. I learned how not to raise my children because of him. :)

Hope everyone had a great weekend and I am catching up on 500+post and congrats to all the new Ti owners. I have been away on a special mountain trip to Grove Park Inn in Ashville, nc for a few days but was able to snag my XTi!!!
Now, I am looking at my toppers to see what will be worthy of this special mod....hmmmmm...any suggestions? I could obviously use the Heron but maybe I am missing that special topper possibly made of Ti as well that I need for my new girl!! All suggestions welcomed! Going to get some rest! Peace Out!!

Okay guys I need some advice. I dropped my X and heron tonight. Well not really dropped but it fell off a table and landed flat on its side. No deep marks at all thankfully. I have a pnb thanks to idahbro but I want to know the best grit sand paper of get rid of these marks.
Surprisingly it fell off of a table to concrete and it just looks like surface blemishes. Nothing deep thankfully. I can post pictures if needed. I can hardly see the blems I can just feel them.
I need help guys!

I do believe Perseas posted my method on the tips thread. But, seeing that this is your X I would absolutely not use sandpaper. The reason is because trying to blend sandpaper finishes to match would almost be impossible. Especially when the grit from 3M is going to be different than the same grit from another.
On another forum recently, P helped another and told him go touch up the brushed GP with a.very light, very light rub, of course in a circular rotation around the tube.
I would mention that in your case I would lightly just buff or quickly "hit" the spot quickly without the rotation. Just like the King of Kings says, less is better :)
I would recommend buying the a multi pack of the different colors of Scotchbrite and the same with steel wool. Please take my recommendation of buying or finding a cheap, no good for anyone, worthless, job stealing, breaking child labor laws, Far East ripoff clone tube of some sort to practice and see what the different mediums look like to help with exactly this.
Or leave it and in a week you'll forget about it! Congrats on your first character mark! :)

I am going to grab the pack of scotchbright pads and attempt to polish it out. Honestly the bad marks are on the heron. The only "feelable" marks are on the paps X switch but I know I can polish those out. I'm only worried about the marks on the heron. Those are going to be tough

Ah, in this case our buddy Bill was right! I would just polish the entire piece. As Bill said with wet sp and your new PnB!
I will start a polish at 320 or 600 and slowly move up in grit. Slowly move the SP up carefully getting the edges and slopes. It is far easier than you think and know you have the skills. Take your time! Go slow. Take a look at the Tips thread or feel free to pm with any questions!
