Yep....I had to toss 10 AW IMR's that I got off of Ebay before I knew any better.....all fakes.....:(

I have since replaced all of my AW's from RTD Vapor which is a known authentic AW seller.....

RTD is the only place I purchase my AW IMRs from. They are 100% legit. I think Idaho had another place as well he uses. I can't remember. (I think it's the heat)

I get my batteries from lighthound(I think this is the Idaho recommended source).

Just dropped off the g/f at the airport, she'll be gone until Saturday. Time for my Paps' and spheroids to get a thorough cleaning. She moved in May and the house has been a bit of a wreck of unpacked boxes. Trying to figure out where everything will find a home and which items we have duplicates of and putting things in bins for storage. We've got it sorted now, I still need to find homes for all of our extra stuff in the attic and basement and build some more shelving(I must construct additional pylons).

I haven't been able to truly tinker with builds or take things apart for cleaning due to my desk and dining room table being completely covered with boxes. That ends today. When she gets back things will be neat and tidy and I'll finally have my vape-station back.

Good for you, and the added plus will be is she is most likely going to think you did it all for HER , and if youre lucky, she will show her appreciation

PS, Im a girl, so ladies dont BOO too much...... I never mind my guy doing something nice for me, even if its hidden with ulterior motives. :)

You're right, the second photo was about something like v2.5. The v2.5 kit DOESN'T work with v3, but is compatible with Spheroid v2.

Here is the v2

Hello Everyone! and a hearty Hello to Lord P! Hope you are all well!

cecsystems, I followed your posts until the bitter end....twice and still am unsure what single part you need to get that Spheroid back in play. Just the screw? post?
I am sure I have what you need and am happy to send one but, you have to promise to buy the spare kit from VA or Domo when available!

Yeah, I like how those aw imr batteries have the hologram on them now...seems like it helps...

I can't confirm this, but I've heard that even the fakes have a holographic AW sticker on them now.. :( ...the best way to tell for sure is with a UV Light as the authentic AW's will glow under a UV light (the AW sticker will)...I tried this with mine and it works...

Just one more reason to stick with buying from the known, reputable dealers. If there's anything we shouldn't be trying to save a few bucks on, it's batteries.

Absolutely. The AW 18490 is my all-time favorite battery and is pretty much all I use, so it's really important to me that they are legit. That's why I threw away all my suspect AW's....I'd just rather not take any chances...

I have to say that the X continues to impress me....... Earlier today, I went to do my usual q-tip wiping on the top contacts as my Ody produces a LOT of vapour condensation because of its design ( 510 air intakes ) I noticed it was very moist so I decided to give it a better cleaning. I took it apart and gave it a good wash etc. Dried and before I put it back together I said, what the heck.... I will clean the contacts with a cape cod, just to see how much oxidation etc.

I was very surprised at how relatively clean everything was. From my previous experience with brass bits I was expecting much more black coming off of the Cape Cod wipe. I was also pleased that the threads were clean, must be the higher quality stainless steel.

Is almost 2 weeks of use, ( heavy use) as its the only device I use now all day, everyday, for almost 24 hours a day. I do get 3-5 hours of sleep if im lucky...... So I put my devices thru a lot of heavy use.

I loves me some lighthound... but as much as I like supporting fellow Texans I have to try and stay away from them for fear of buying a ton of flashlight stuff too :)
You arent kidding my man. It is tough for me to stay focused. It is a cool store. For those looking for device travel cases they carry Pelican Cases.....and knives ....and paracord  help me....

Testify Brother. You couldnt be more correct.

I received my X on Monday. I can see what the fuss is about. Absolutely beautiful, heavy feel as well. When I took the first few hits, for whatever reason, I began to cough. It seems to hit very hard. I was also marveling @ how the different extensions all fit together to create different lengths. The holster feels rock solid as well, awesome bonus.

I'm with you on that! Ever since the X was announced, I *wanted* one but kept convincing myself I didn't *need* one. In the last couple of days since I got mine, I've hardly put it down. I don't think it's all the "new toy effect" either -- I really love the way it feels, and it's given new life to my 23mm toppers!
BTW, Pris I think you'd love the Heron. I know you like the cooler vape, which you can easily get with it. It's also super easy to rebuild and keep topped up.

Congrats! Very cool to see the initial reaction when the X is delivered. You still stare at it, don't you? I do.

I heard Yankee bought the X to get a free holster.
