ThanksAlthough I live in suburban Sydney, I'm very fortunate in that our house backs directly on to 300 hectares of native bushland known as Bidjigal Reserve. It's not like being in the city at all:

The blackened tree trunks are the result of a controlled bushfire mitigation burn a couple of years ago. The downside of living here is that bushfires are an ever-present danger. I've lived here since 1976; we did have one fire that burnt out the back garden, jumped the house, and burnt out the front garden. As a result, I'm a long-time member of our local Community Fire Unit and have a red fire trailer in my front garden.
Hey! I know you wouldn't like ithey Idaho, wasn't ignoring ya, was just in a rush this morning. I don't think Gold Rising is something I'd enjoy.. Thanks for the offer tho!
ETA: but if you change your mind on that #666...
Just fantastic.
My son is headed back to finish up his Doctorate in the States. He has been living in Sydney for quite some time working with a group of nuc scientists. He now has a beautiful girlfriend and I've never heard him talk about a better group of people than the friends and community.
You may of heard of a strikingly handsome bloke from America, buff, loves to fight for fun while playing Irish drinking games remodeling bars and a penchant for strippers.
He gets all that ^ from his Mom![]()

NP!aaaaah, the night time. Everybody is asleep hehehe...i just have to rant for a moment. I bought this mango salsa against my better judgement (but it smelled nice!) and I have to say that the mango was lacking in flavor. I was in the dominican republic a couple of months ago and had mango at breakfast and the stuff melted in your mouth! It was fabulous! I get back in the states and try to find a good mango and it's like I'm trying to mine diamonds. I know at the big chains strawberries are painted red, tomatoes painted red, but geez, is any fruit real anymore?
Sorry, but it just irritates me that i can have a saturating, aromatic, flavorful piece of fruit at breakfast in a third world country, but in the mighty us of a, i get a bland, hard, mango. Ugggh! Parsley, same way. no fragrance at all. Here's what I can't figure out: why is it when I go to the ethnic grocery stores their produce is fairly good? Salsa is freash, fragrance of parsley is present, etc. I don't know about some of the other states, but the farmer markets in illinois rule! Man, those strawberries are so tasty and colorful; you don't want to shop for produce anywhere else! And fish? Oh, I don't want to even get started. Sorry, a moment of weakness...
Hey! I know you wouldn't like it. I know your flavors of choice. About #666...the contractual agreement will specifically use the word "Borrow, Borrowing, Borrows and Borrowed".
I would rather buy you a different one.
Just fantastic.

That is exactly where he was much of the time. His studies are actually linking molecules and physiology. He is a West Point Grad and was there with fellow schoolmates. He is looking forward to a potential position with the CDC here in the States. And, would like to eventually control and map the US evacuation planning.Bwahaha. He's clearly out of my league, but I wish I had met him! Can't believe I missed out on a buff young nuclear scientist. If he's been at Lucas Heights, that's the other side of Sydney - but there's *lots* of bushland down there.

If none of it works out, his second choice is to be a comedian and write personal reviews on drug rehabilitation centers. No....but seriously he does. Lol
Kid cracks me up.
