Ahh Z, I don't eat sweets. Haven't for many many years. No processed foods for me either. I'll go hungry first. :)

everything sounds good but the flak seeds ... no flak for me, thank you  ;)
Oh my brother, they are incredible for your body.

The base looks swollen.

Thanks. These are valley pictures. Our northern route are the clear blue water of the 230+ alpine lakes we have close. And the jagged mountains of the Sawtooth Mountain Range. Spydro can chime in on the beauty. Nothing like it in the world to me.....except the beach.

I has a sad.

Wednesday and Thursday, my Ti's threads were smooth as butter. Last night, I took the Heron off of it and tried to put the top cap on. It would only go on about half way before binding.

Well, having followed this thread, I had read of others having binding issues as well. So, I spent about 2 hours at the sink working all the threads on the tubes. Got them all working pretty smoothly, so gave them a final brush with the tooth brush, dried everything thoroughly, and put it back together in 650 mode. All was well.

Today, I wanted to change to 500 mode. I cannot get the tubes apart. I have tried everything that has been suggested in this thread. I've managed to get them to loosen about 2 turns but that's as far as I can get them to move. I cannot get them to tighten up either. I don't have a vice or soft jawed pliers. I wouldn't want to put it in a vice though, even if I did have one.

I am at a total loss here. I don't know what else to try.

After screwing around with the threads in mine for 3 1/2 hours, I've set mine aside... indefinitly.

This was much of my day after chores and my daily heavy bag workout :). D took me for a ride to Costco for fruit as ours is not quite ready due to our cold region.

The ride, when I wasn't holding my head out the window like a happy dog

Perseas you will have to throw me out before I ever leave the side of you and GP :)

Great pics IdaBro. Never tried Flak seeds, but I use flax seeds everyday in my smoothies. ;)

Funny girl! "Rising From The Ashes" with flames and fire around my entire leg and an emerging Phoenix.
I'm living through another cycle. Life.

"GP" will look perfect on the palm of my hand, I'm waiting for a CNC machine go free up :).

Some of the pictures are from way back then, some I no longer have any pictures of, one is fairly recent.

1967.jpg

No more homework, no more teachers or coaches to slave for, the halls I would never walk again, the people who had been an important part of my life for years that I’d probably never see again, and the realization that it was the end of a relatively carefree life. I had volunteered for Vietnam, as a Naval Airman, but wouldn’t be going until after the end of summer. So I quit my job, broke up my band after one last concert in Sugarhouse Park and said my goodbys to my friends and high school sweetheart I choose to leave behind mainly because of the uncertainty of Vietnam. It was time for one last endless summer that would celebrate the end of my youth.

Even though simplistic, this song released in May not long before graduation set into motion what turned out to be a summer filled with many new experiences, meeting truly amazing people from every walk of life, their beliefs and their music that I will never forget it. Those experiences changed some of my ideals and had a strong influence on who I became. Much of my success in life I owe to that summer, the people I met, the attitude I came away from it with to live and let live, and always dance with the one I brung.

More installments to follow…

As Perseas mentions breaking in the tubes under water is a great method.
Short on water this season, last night I sat with the Titanium X in my lap with a dry tooth brush. I carefully worked the threads together never pushing the limit of getting them stuck and then I would brush the Titanium threads out on both male and female connections and start gain. I also had a damp cotton rag to wipe the threads every few minutes.
Quickly the squeaks softened and they seemed to meld together in perfect harmony. All threads mate in every connection possible as they were meant to be :)

Last night I had a similar issue to Dan Knight. Instead of cold water I put it in the freezer for a few hours while I went out to dinner. I was then able to get them apart using rubber pads used for opening jars. After that I was on a mission. I used a method similar to yours, toothbrush and all. I also found it helpful to thread the pieces into some of the stainless steel pieces from a SS Paps-X. It all seems to be working now. In fact after sitting down and reading of these issues, I completely disassembled and reassembled by Paps-X TI and everything works well. The threads are a little squeaky but the fit well.

I will give one warning. The threads are very sharp and you can cut yourself on them. Be careful when wrestling around with the pieces. I somehow managed to cut myself and didn't even realize it. It's only like a paper cut but very annoying. I always use a mix of 50/50 purified water and rubbing alcohol when working with my mods so everything stayed nice and clean.

Am I the only person that gets juice in the cup under my drip tip on the Heron?
What am I doing wrong?

Happens to me all the time. And also in all my other attys as well. It's condensation from the vapor (at least I think so). I just try to make sure I clear it out when inhaling fully. Seems to help, but I seriously doubt there's any possible way to completely eliminate it.
Best bet, find a drip tip that completely fills the void in the well for every atty, and leave them lol.

Thank you, Perseus.

For the email, should I use the contact form on the VapourArt web site? Or should I PM you?

And, no, you have never suggested using a vice or pliers and I never meant to imply that you had. As I said, even if I had them available, I wouldn't use them for fear of damaging the tubes.

An email to info@vapourart.com or the contact form, it's the same address buddy :)

After screwing around with the threads in mine for 3 1/2 hours, I've set mine aside... indefinitely.

If you don't care about the serial number, this can be corrected in definite time.

As Woody said, it happens with all the atties, it has happened with my Heron, mostly when the fluff was touching the lip of the bell. The last 3 months it hasn't occurred though.
