That thing must run pretty hot. 12 wraps, 28g, probably around 2-2.3 ohms per coil. That's a .38ish sextuple coiled wasp.

That looks a little like a spheroid.
WIth all this talk of family vacations, it brings back many memories.......... most of them quite the opposite of what most would call "fond". My Dad, I love him a lot, so dont get me wrong, is a bit of a control freak. He is a civil engineer and numbers, logic, and schedules rule his life.
Needless to say, vacations were a stressful thing for him and the rest of us........ He is a photographer so he would take his equipment and we were all "assistants"
This is NOT one of our family photos, but it catches the spirit, except those people have smiles on their faces and he is pushing the carriage which he never would do except if my Mom was in the ladies room.
