Oh I'll be on and off on a mental vacation. Work has EXPLODED. And the "home work" has exploded. Garden just keeps producing. Sauces are being jarred. Life is fantastic.
It's amazing. You realize top notch vape gear and the family along with that. Find yourself at peace in life and gardens. Projects have continued on. Gorgeous days. This is a different "place" I'm in from even one year ago.

Hello my GP Family! I'm back! :)

The day went well. :) I am tired, and a bit nauseous, but all is good. One surprise, they put a compression bandage around my torso, and have my arm in a sling. I am not allowed to remove either. The surgeon will remove them, when I go for the pathology results on Friday. No shower. :( Ugh and Yuck! :)

Thank you.. everyone! :)

Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone has installed their spheroid v2.5 upgrade kit? Does anyone know how to install the new insulator in the base, where the positive post slots in? I put mine in the base but cant figure out how to slot the post properly so it sticks out the bottom a little and makes contact with the mod. The insulator seems too thick and won't let the post sink in. Anyone had this problem?

Would appreciate any help. Thanks

There are two length pins. Make sure you are using the longer one. That's the one that has sufficient length to reach the nut to secure it.
Also ensure that the insulator is indeed pressed all the way in and no gaps are there. It is slightly tricky so be aware. But yet easy when they are done and you look back at it.

Hello all. I'm new to GP, have anX and a few lux"s. My question is this. Is there a flat top cap for the X? Id like to shorten it a bit.
Thanks.....

Welcome.
Officially no there is no other type 510 connector for the X. Some have used a paps cap for the 22mm top but this requires a converter. Once the converter is used, the length becomes a moot point.

The tubes are what appear shorter than needed to accommodate the top of the X or converter with paps cap. So you can't really cut length off. If you insert the battery for your tube configuration without any top on you will see what I mean.

2 length pins? So i take it the pins that came with the upgrade kit are the longer ones? I hadn't realized that.

Thank you yankee

My problem now is I can't get the bottom of the positive pin to stick out beyond the insulator and achieve contact with the mod. The bottom of the pin sits flush with the insulator. I've tried pushing on the top of the pin to get it to sink in further but it won't move anymore. I attach pictures below

I edited your post adding the photos you sent me via pm, because it is confusing to discuss via pm and public for a case providing different descriptions, so let's do it in public. Before you opened the base, the plate insulator accepted the 510 pin, therefore you need only to press it a bit more to sit properly. If you removed it before, you can insert it again, the insulator cannot change shape or diameter.

Regarding the insulator of the positive post, you need to press it to fit inside the deck and to tighten well the nut from below. Check which goes up and which goes down as well. If you can post a clear photo of the issue, it will help me to assist you better.
