Herons and Spheroids for air travel ...!

I don't think the Ziploc bag will work. Even if it's a closed system it's not rigid enough to be resistant to pressure changes. Leaks will continue to happen based on experience...

I agree that the ziplock bag does not work, however the last couple times I flew with the Kayfuns on a Provari, I turned it upside down(entire unit) and zero leaks!! Both tanks were about half full of juice. The spheroid had zero leak in my front pocket....thank goodness!!

cape cod clothes are fine. This is coming from someone that spent many years preparing show cars for shows. rub gently. it is a chemical cleaner. If you have abrasions there are other ways to deal with those

Thanks for the reply and cleaning recommendations. Admittedly, I figured cleaning was discussed in this thread but its 400+ pages and was a bit lazy.

My lux v3 is new directly from VapourArt. The two 18650 tubes are also brand new purchased from Domo. I do not currently ahve any extra swtiches or top caps at the moment so I use the original ones from my lux v3. I will have to take a look at the GPin and extra parts that come with my v3 to see about changing them out.

Also, Thanks for the offer for the GPin! Really appreciate it. Let me check my stash but I think I already have both long and short.

I guess I don't understand why the 18650 tubes with the v3 top cap work with flat top batteries but not button top. Even if it is a GPin issue, it would stand to reason it is still making contact with the button tops???

Thanks all for the replies on flying with vape gear. I hadn't flown anywhere since I started vaping full on and I knew that a few of you are road warriors.

Since my flight was a one-day trip I had just a slip case made for a small laptop with some extra pockets(man purse?) to carry some essentials and vape gear. I was given a "Pre-check" ticket where everything is in my bag and I didn't have to take off my belt or shoes. No issues or questions at all. I did take my MicroStick and my Spheroid which I put in a separate plastic baggie. I did get a bit of leakage from the Spheroid but I attribute that to possibly over filling it(?).

It was kinda funny but I walked what seemed like a 1/2 mile to the smoking area at the Seattle air port to vape before my return flight. The good people there were all sucking on cigs so I cause quite a stir when I pulled out my MS. They all kinda looked at me like I had just gotten out of a space ship. Maybe it was because I was in a suit. I was flown up for an interview. The plus side was while I was waiting for my ride home at the Portland airport I went to the smoking area for a vape. A woman trotted right over and asked me 20 questions about vaping. I was able to convince her to give it a try when she got back home. I'm not sure whether I will get the job or not but hopefully I was able to convince a smoker to quit cigs which makes a for a positive day in my book.

Cucco, thank you for the thought! This is kind of a big change from the type of job I've done for the last 25 years. I'm kinda nervous making this type of change. I do think that it's a change in the right direction since I'm not going to be able to retire any time soon. I was surprised that they flew me in for the interviews.

Change, can be a really good thing. Rarely, do we regret stepping outside our 'comfort zone'. Even if it ends up not being the 'perfect' match, most often, it is a step in the right direction. The fact they flew you in.. kudos!.. speaks volumes about you! Good luck!

So i was down at a local b&m and they have this GP Customs Tahiti mod in there. I was like whaaaat? A GP mod that i have never seen or heard of? Picked it up and while not poorly made.... It certainly didnt have that GP feel, and no GPin (for a supposedly new to market product). Brass, not alumi bronze.. Thinner, and a squeaky not as nice button. I was all about to call them out on being defrauded... When luckily i googled the product, and it is a different company in the phillipines lol.

I know, i know... Cool story bro. Just thought I'd share.
