NoTank is good once you have it setup. Kinda fiddy to build because it's prone to hot spots and shorts. It's not really a genny type. Look in to the Hstone Plus+. That one is more like a BF genny(same concept as the In'Ax). It's also a transformer as you can replace a bunch of parts and it becomes a tankless BF like any other.
Thanks, I'll look for the Hstone. I missed the In'Ax run but, look to pick one up in Oct. on the next run.

One year ago, today, I smoked my last cigarette.

No, I haven't kicked the nicotine habit (yet), but for 365 days, I have not inhaled the other 4,000-7,000 chemicals (depending on which source you look at) that are in a burning cigarette. (What's in a Cigarette? - American Lung Association)

I feel much better. I can breath. I don't wake up and spend 30 minutes or so coughing. I don't smell of cigarettes.

I have cut my nicotine use from 36mg/ml to 12mg/ml. Hopefully, I will be able to cut that down even more in the future.

I never thought I would quit smoking. I don't think I would have if it weren't for Hayden (my 5 year old grandson). If he hadn't told me he didn't want me to 'turn blue and die' I know I would still be puffing away. Thank you Hayden!

While Hayden was the impetus that got me started (using Blue and then White Cloud), it is the quality gear that I have purchased over the past year that has kept me from going back to cigarettes. That, of course, includes the Paps Xs I have along with the Heron and Spheroid.

So, along with Hayden, I'd like to thank Perseus and the entire GP team for making some of the devices that have helped save my life.

I have met (on line and, in a few cases, in real life) some of the nicest, most compassionate, caring people I've ever known. All of you in this thread, of course, fall into those categories. Thank you all for the knowledge you share.

I bought an all glass 10ml syringe off of ebay that was from the Korean or VN war. The whole plunger was glass so no rubber or plastic of any type. It came in a military labeled box and was something like $8 shipped.
Nice! No rubber/plastic seal? I have not yet found a reputable source for these types of syringes.

I broke down and bought a few 2ml and a couple of 10ml pyrex pipettes. those paired with my pipette pump should keep me going for awhile ... plus I can rinse, then bake, the pipettes in my oven to clean them...

    Nicely said Dan. And congratulations.
A couple of months from now will be my first anni. I honestly didn't try to quit, and still have a half pack of American Spirits in the cupboard, untouched this past year. Just kind of got tired of the taste of cigs and the inconvenience of smoking [hadn't smoked indoors for years] and as you mentioned the coughing and stink, but not of the process of smoking.
    So, here we are.
And I echo your appreciation of the folks on this thread and elsewhere and their caring and helpfulness.:toast:

Me too. The Senio's on PAPS are becoming favorites. Guess I need to make a picture of all the GP gear together one of these days. The other older mods, meh. Also just bought 3 Reo's to play with, a Mini, LP Grand and VV Grand. The VVG is not here yet though. Hope to score a Woodvil next.

Here is a link: One Vintage Frosted Glass Syringe Luer Needle Lock No Needles 5cc | eBay

    and another
    3 Pre Owned Vintage B D Multifit Glass Syringes with Luer Lock 10cc 10cc 2cc | eBay

These do creep me out:unsure:. Just remembering these when I was a kid and how afraid I was.

These are the two glass syringes that I own that I'm very happy with:

AIR-TITE Glass Syringe, Metal Luer Lock, 10 mL - G4822763 at Zoro

AIR-TITE Glass Syringe, Metal Luer Lock, 1 mL - G4824154 at Zoro

When you fill them with liquid you have to hold the "plunger" in place because it will otherwise release the liquid without a rubber stopper. Similarly you have to be careful and carry them face down or the "plunger" will fall out to the floor (hasn't happened to me yet). It's nice that they're super easy to clean and to change liquids.
