With what shipping rates are now days, recycling is not the option it once was. Remember the days as a small lad getting Windy out (my horse), riding to the closest thing that could be called a store 14 miles away picking up pop/whiskey bottles that had been tossed along the little highway, and trading them in for 22 ammo, maybe an Ironport at the soda fountain, some penny candy or something to give other family members or friends.

I used to love the penny candy store! I used to go there with my dog. We would sit on the steps outside the store, and dig into our treasures in our little brown bag.

BTW: I used to collect the bottles for recycle too. :)

Smile Friday.jpg Hello my GP Family!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! :)

I was allowed to unveil my surgery site today. No more compression bandage! No more tape and dressings!

The scar.... Yes, it will be a scar. But....
Cleanest surgery site I ever saw! I love this surgeon!

I did not post on this subject as nothing I could type was appropriate:oops: ^^These were the words I needed:)

Probably because it was completely unnecessary and unwarranted? I led off with "nothing against GVC" and finished with "not saying Grant is like those mod suppliers" (who I was also careful not to name). All of this, in direct response to a question/post by someone else in the thread. I didn't slam Grant at all. Not once. I did, however, state my opinion. If that is too much for some people to handle, then that's on them.

(NOT directed at you, nisam... just a general statement) - A little less group-think and a bit more reading comprehension can do wonders to combat jumping to conclusions. A thread, on a public forum, where opinions are not welcome and people speaking their minds are "in the wrong forum" simply isn't a place for me.

I appreciate the great customer service from Perseas et al, and I will continue to support their business as a result of that (and the fantastic product). However, I will do so outside of this thread. Thanks again, Perseas!

I respect faitaccompli's opinion and I didn't see it as a slam. I understand where he was coming from on not wanting to "playing the game" either in general or just for eliquid. I chose to wake up at 3:00 AM to spend 15 minutes on an overloaded website to get eliquid that I like from the UK and I realize that some people inside of our community and mostly everyone outside of our community would think it's crazy. To not want to deal with that on a regular basis and to share your opinion about it here is fine with me. There was some good background on Grant and his operation in response and we're all friends here.

Let's relax, take a vape, perhaps take a break, and keep on sharing our different opinions and experiences and our common appreciation of GP gear.

Couldn't agree more about Grant, just a sweet guy.

Hey Bill, I have well over 300 of these glass bottles I can send out in amber and cobalt with droppers or caps if you decide you would like to transfer your juice.

Personally like Yankeeballs, we store in the original bottles and leave in a dark space.
We do occasionally quick steep in our UC on a 30 minute cycle when needed.

Hope everyone is doing fantastic today :).

I've bought a dozen or so of these glass Boston bottles with the droppers and they all leak juice when I shake the bottle. It has become a major annoyance having juice all over the bottles. I guess that's what I get for buying them on ebay.

    Hi buddy :)

If someone disagrees with you it doesn't mean that your opinion is not welcome here.
We are a diverse group of people and sometimes our humor is a bit dry or sarcastic but never indifferent for each other's needs.

I believe that you expressed a fair opinion and how you felt with Grant's online service and this is one of the reasons forums exist.

Grant is fully aware that some people will be ...... off with his limited production. He tried in the past to satisfy all but he felt he has a life to live as well and for the time being the best he can do is a monthly batch solely.

Don't feel offended, here is the asylum:D

I've felt the same frustration and confusion as a vaper trying to buy during high traffic limited quantities of a mod or a liquid. I had been many times awake in the past at 4am to purchase trippy tips, I failed always, haha. I transform this feelings to excitement, BUT this is my conscious choice, other people have different reactions and I respect this fact.
Without interactions and opinions' exchange we all loose at the end of the day. A little friction might be necessary to polish some sharp edges, communication is a process, nobody is perfect.

My sis and I would go to a place called Nichols dairy, it was about a mile away, we would save for a month, ride our bikes up there and take forever picking which candies we wanted, Swedish fish was always my favorite! We would grab those little brown bags and head home! Explore our treasure when we got there! Such memories!
