Technically both ends go up and that usually works. Cotton is the best flavor wise but can be fickle. I have both go up USUALLY. Thick juices have both up. There is one juice that I dont vape often but its a blend and I find leaving a little on the floor helps wick it.
Part of the pic was to show length. Dont extend cotton past the deck. It will twist on itself. curl both ends up (or try what I did, who knows right?). Also if you are still twisting, then don't point them straight up. Curl them and let the action of screwing the upper part on handle its placement.

This is an atty that I say if you have it in your hands and can't get it going, have a vape setup with something else and take an hour Saturday afternoon. Once you nail it and repeat it you will get consistency. And it'll be worth it. I still prefer the spheroid to the heron.

Sonicared everything, dried it all off, and I'm letting any I missed air dry for a little before I build. Happy crap this thing is INCREDIBLE!!! I'm blow away at how compact and stunning...oh goodness, just wow is all xo can say. Glad I got the lux, silver contacts everywhere, and the two tone with the brushed DT I ordered separate, is just so slick. Polished brushed polished brushed looks fantabulous

Is that how you insert the cotton? One end going up a little bit and not the other? I been trying to get both ends of the cotton upwards, figured that would improve wicking.. maybe I am doing the wrong thing

I use KGD with both ends up. The coil/wick below has been in use through many refills; it's clearly in need of a dry burn and re-wick :) However, in the pics I had just unscrewed the base from the Spheroid and not fiddled with the wick at all. There is some twisting of the wick, but not a lot. I attempt to straighten it a little with each refill.

What juice is that?

It's Strawberries & Cream from a vape shop here in Australia (Steam e-cigs). That's obviously the strawberry component you can see :)

Note: Because it's illegal for the shop to sell nicotine in Australia, their juices are supplied as zero nic "singlers" or "doublers". Doublers are double-strength flavour which we then mix down to our desired strength by adding an equal quantity of a mix of (nic + PG + VG). We have to import the plain nic from overseas.

Jeebus that's frackin crazy. Of course, if it ever comes to it, I would do the same thing.

It's funny how a tiny thing such a taste can change the balance of the day. But it is a great reminder of how small changes of the way we're doing things can affect our wellbeing in a tremendously positive manner. Even a change of the order we are accustomed to approach an issue may have healing effects; taking a break from the enforced habit that we have to do something always in order to feel good or normal. But pure awareness lives in nothingness, it is not a thing like thoughts are, it lives between the states of actions, not into the actions themselves. I mean we are aware, we sleep, we dream, that's the norm of our awareness and it can be described as a condition of being, an action.
If we are a bit more observant we'll see a forth state of awareness; when we go to sleep, we enter in a intermediary relaxed state without any thought just seconds or minutes before we are really sleeping or dreaming. The same happens when we admire a natural view, for seconds we are out of our usual busy condition of doing or planning or worrying about things. We are in a bliss. Reminding this to our mind constantly creates a great healing tool and a problem solver and inspirations start coming.
For example, when we sit to eat, by stopping for a few seconds to concentrate to the taste of our food, the texture of the fork, the action of chewing, our gratitude for being alive is waking up, then we enhance our awareness and connect this elusive state with every other moment we experience it, we're becoming more aware and being aware is more invaluable than time, health or money. It helps to break the conventional entrainment imposed to us by the media, the medical community, the trends, the limited beliefs, in a childlike manner and purity that makes us more human.

Gazillions of smiles, hugs and love to your way :)

Thanks again for the pics and tips.. Right now i put in a silica cotton hybrid wick.. its vaping pretty good.. The flavor is decent.. I think I am just used to the ceramic wick.. So cotton and silica don't taste as good to me anymore. Yankeebo, out of curiosity.. Have you ever tried the nautilus mini BVC tank before?

No I haven't. Ive gone through a few different "areas" and had the inconsistent vaping. and its maddening when you completely repeat the setup and still have different results. But never nautilus. GP has been the most consistent across the board.

I am not so good at expressing my inner workings to be called a real poet or a writer, but thank you for the compliment!
If my random mumbling can make you relax, that's enough for me.

Cucco is a real writer, her stories is the perfect example of mixing delicate emotions with facts, humour and life teachings that makes you smile :)

Much love back to you and your wife!

No worries. If government has their way we just might some day.

Well if you are ever looking for an additional tank to add to your arsenal as a backup tank or something id recommend trying it. I have tried a crap load of clearo tanks, I never liked any of them. I always found the flavor to be ....ty... This ones the only one that impressed me. I been through like 7 or more coil heads so far and everyone of them was consistent, wicked perfectly, no leaking, and great flavor. The only reason why people don't make a fuss out of it anymore is because it isn't made to chase huge clouds, and that is all anyone cares about now.

I use the [standard] Nauti BVC heads with a Billet Bridge. They are awesome!

So with Poor Cucco still feeling under the weather I thought I would share the eagle information, its dads first visit! 3/24

Great vid! But, that is another cam. Our Dad(Ozzie) is still recovering in the hospital. He must be worried sick about Harriet and baby E6. And, no doubt, Harriet is worried sick about her man! But, she is doing a great job at being a single Mom for now. And, E6 made his first flight! So sad, Ozzie wasn't there to see it! :(

Thank you Perseas. That was very kind. :) I tell my stories. I do the best I can with them. I certainly don't have your talent for expression. Your words sing. They make me smile. :)

I have not had the strength, or mental capacity, to do a 'story time' lately. Maybe, I could manage a rerun or two. Reruns are easier. Maybe.. :)

Take care all! Hugs, smiles, and love to all! :)

hey man.. what is a billet bridge.. I have to google what that means.. Yeah the bvc heads are very impressive.. Unfortunately I heard that they are changing the wicking material to cotton.. which is a bummer.. I really feel the ceramic wick they have in them is superior. So far the nautilus mini is my favorite tank. I did like the mesh in the sperhoid, but im having trouble getting it to wick good.. I have to re try your build tutorial and follow what you did to the letter.
