I've had my ego c 650 twists for months & I don't want a bulky battery... (Even though I tend to drool over pretty ones)... I like the simplicity of them... Has anybody else done this or am I a weirdo?

Well, Yes I actually have right here on my desk my original rn4081, with a replacement atomizer and a tea-bag modded cart. And yes I do still use it, Im using it right now with a simple DiY tobacco..... I do not carry and use it every day, but once in a while I will grab it out of the cup that sits on my desk and give it a good vape. It is now over 2 1/2 years old but it still holds a useable charge, still puts out 3.7v and still warms up an atty.... I use it as more of an homage to vaping than anything else, but I do still use it. It does go out on loan to interested folks, along wit a twist and a couple clearos. Funny thing about that is almost everyone who uses both at first prefers the mini but quickly jumps to the twist for its battery life. They like the ease of use and options on the twist......But they never forget where they started.
Enjoy the Journey. Happy vaping.

I have to show you this:

Camera(104).jpg

All my original 18650's still going....I have yet to drop dollars on new ones...

Man, you guys all started out with eGo's? Those are pretty good though, my first battery has been the v2 ecig "shorty" battery, and it's horrible. I get about 10 drags before it's back to the charger for two hours. :facepalm:

Now I'm awaiting my eGo VV2 mega 1200 passthrough in the mail, and I was considering keeping this piece of poop battery for a spare, but it literally has disappointed me so much I think I'm gonna toss it.

WEIRDO, here! I currently have 11 working Egos of various mahs, colors and "twist" ability! I have them all set up with their pretty clearos and different juices. If I feel like a different juice, it is all ready to go.
I just ordered 3 more Egos! My first battery was a Blu, which is banished. I may PIF to a die hard smoker I know...I will NEVER use it again, but I have a hard time throwing anything out.

BTW, I LOVE my clamshell flip phone, too! {I am old school...}

Yep, still have my original m401 batts. I originally bought four in nov or dec 2009. I gave two away and I still have one that works. I later bought two more sometime in 2012. I still use them with atomizers and carts while doing housework. Great hands free devices. They don't get heavy use but I love them. If these little suckers ever die ill have to look into an eRoll.

I use my ego's and like them even tho I have moved up to ZMax, but I use them till the go bad, so have gone bad really fast and so have lasted over a year, but I like the idea of just having to change the battery instead of having to plug the whole thing in for a few hours, I can be .... when I don't have a fresh vape on hand LOL
