Hey! That's Bronze and GT discussing Huntsman!

Since Dusty 'shared' his thoughts earlier; Am I being a Grumpy Old Man today ? I'm used to going several hundreds of miles a day, but today I'm going from the bedroom to the bathroom, and of course, the dining table for Mamaw's Breakfast. (Eggs, Bacon, scratch Biscuits and Homemade Gravy). Being snowed in is frustrating....

Ah THAT I didn't know. I just jumped to conclusions my bad.

Also I think you misunderstood me. I'm saying I WOULD be impressed. And most certainly 10x more when I'm cold and have ice falling all over me.

Ah, I am glad I clarified...

I am also glad you found the picture painted to be impressive. We will see. Hopefully I will be updating you all in the morning, after room service brings a hearty breakfast.

But, even the best plans can go awry. I have no expectations.

EDIT: I re-read you post, you said clearly you WOULD be impressed, I just "carried over" the not from the previous phrase. Damn ADHD. I need a coffee.

That IS the worst part for me - the 24 hour fast wasn't so bad with the approved liquids one can have, but gallon of salty yuk water is the PITS! Staggered in without coffee - probably holding my arm out saying Anaesthesia! Gimme Anaesthesia! NOW!

Actually, it's not that bad. Mamaw has had it done twice, she claims the worst part is the liquid you have to drink the day before to 'clean out' your system. After 24 hours of not eating, and being cleaned out, you will feel wiped out. Have someone drive you to and from the tests, and you will want something to eat once it's over.

Did someone mention beer?!? *burp*

Duly noted General...I shant ever not update on my icecapades ever again. But I was safe and warm with food and water and facilities! :p

My friend got stuck in traffic during our storm a couple of weeks ago for 11 straight hours in her car. She said thank goodness for red solo cups...they are not only for beer! And she also said thank goodness for squats in gym class...they came in handy. And she said she wasn't even embarrassed about the steam when she emptied the cup after ...... in it. And of course she had to "demonstrate". Pinch, squeeze and drain, pinch, squeeze and drain. I haven't laughed that hard in a long long time.

For the record, I'm assuming I was speaking for more than just me. :)

On the other topic, Ben Wa would be proud of your friend. :)

Well I got my hair chopped of this morning and tonight is manicure, pedicure and spray tan. I'm not sure what I think about the hair yet but mine grows fast and this will be easy while on vacation so all is good.

This post is worthless without pics.. Just saying'!

Ok I have to weigh in on the beer issue being one of two home brewers on this thread as far as I know . Beer in the U.S. changed radically during WWII with a large percentage of the men involved with the war the breweries moved away from the darker , heavier brews to the lighter ones in an effort to appeal to women that's how we wound up with the horsepiss that the major breweries produce today . Hula telling people in Ireland or Germany that beer is for women will get you a less than pleasant result . The difference between lager and ale lies in the yeast , ale yeast ferments from the top down at room temperatures , lager which is the german word " to store " ferments from the bottom up under refrigeration , using lager yeast at room temperatures will give you nasty undrinkable beer , The germans invented modern refrigeration for the purpose of brewing lager beer year round , prior to that it was only brewed in fall and winter , the german name for ale is Altbier or old beer meaning before lager yeast was developed . There was and may still be men only bars in Munich where the entire front of the bar is a urinal , they don't want anything cutting into their beer drinking time . My favorite brew is Guinness on tap followed by Sam Adams Boston lager on tap neither of which is made in Canada and no Buttwiper beer is allowed in my house or fridge or in BK's either .

So my redneck neighbor who was gonna yank my wife's car out of the snow with his monster truck is holed up in a DOT maintenance shed clear on the other side of Raleigh. We wont see him for a week! Though he was just on the local news. They were doing an interview of a co-worker (he works for the DOT) and there's Greg in the background smoking a cigarette next to a gas tank. Dang Redneck! :)
