Watching an entire season of a TV series is like watching a never ending movie....

We have warm weather in the forecast too! Planning to get the flower beds cleaned out. I'm also attempting my first chocolate layer cake for Kaden's 14th birthday. My baby is turning 14... There's a little sadness that they are growing up, but happiness too.

I'm hoping that I see my flower beds before end-April or May. There's about 5 feet of snow piled up on it right now..

I still remember the "Jalopy" cake my mum baked for me when I turned 4.. trust me, not something that Kaden will forget, since he's 14.

the wife made a "mistake cake" was supposed to be brownies but the additional butter turned it into a fudgey cake that was awesome...
never could replicate it tho

I was thinking Ale either chocolate brown or Scottish , Dusty what do you prefer ?

Well, I hope his doesn't turn out 'jalopy', lol. But, if there's one thing I can do, it's follow a recipe to a T. Getting it to look right could be an issue tho. We'll eat it either way!

Oh, and I completely ignored my flower beds last summer. Didn't plant anything, and only weeded the (few) perennials a couple of times. I want flowers, and lots of them this year.

I've been tripping out on some of the microbrewery offerings in Toronto off late, but I'll settle for a Smithwick's or Boddington's if you have any.

3 weeks of steeping is officially completed on my last home extraction. It is pure EXCELLENCE!! Started with 40ml of VG, added in about an ounce each of a generic cherry Cavendish and Red Man.. sounds funky, but at the current dilution(20%), its frikkin amazing!! Its not Dipity, but.......

Hahahahahahaaaaaaaaa! OMG! That was awful!!!!

Way off topic... I'm at yoga today and the first pose is child's pose, I'm minding my own business breathing deeply and slowly as instructed and in my nose wafts the most horrible heavy sulfur fart. It was not me, I swear. It's so hot and humid in there it was just about unbearable. The instructor went and got a candle from the front lobby and that helped a lot.

I'm happy to report it did not happen again today.
