Lol! Heya army-I've been in "lurking mode".
They've been trying to wear this old man out at work-have been too tired when I get home to do much but read-and spend time with the wife and son.My 40 year wedding anniversary is coming up in a couple weeks and spending time with the wife in between reading here and other R/L stuff.

Iowa have a fantabulous time!!!! Take pictures that you can post! ;)

Oh, and I completely ignored my flower beds last summer. Didn't plant anything, and only weeded the (few) perennials a couple of times. I want flowers, and lots of them this year.

This year you'll have the time to work in those flower beds! If I remember right, you still had that long commute last year... More time for it this year :)

We have warm weather in the forecast too! Planning to get the flower beds cleaned out. I'm also attempting my first chocolate layer cake for Kaden's 14th birthday. My baby is turning 14... There's a little sadness that they are growing up, but happiness too.

I feel that, too. My oldest is 18. Weird to think he will be gone in September.

Yes, and I officially go to a 4 day workweek April 21st! Now to figure out what to plant on the south and west (hot) sides of my house..

Evening All. Not to bad a day. Home now dinner is done. That would be the single man dinner. chicken and rice soup. Open can and pour into pan. Heat until hot, take pan and spoon to PC and catch up on ECF. Take pan and spoon to sink and wash. Dinner is done.

After catching up I can only say

for alot of it. Nope not sayin nothin. But here's couple I couldn't resist.

That looks like to me.
I've been mostly offline for the last couple of days, so I'm way behind on the thread. I've scanned the last couple of days of posts and here's what I THINK I've learned:

1. If you think Bud Lite and Red Stripe are really good beer, then you'll LOVE Huntsman. ;)

2. Ray cracked his noggin' and his gall bladder flew out.

3. You guys are a really chatty bunch when you're snowed in.

Amen Pappy Amen.
Should have said this already. Morning, Army! :) Coffee brewed. vape in hand. Sitting at my command center (read: PC desk. lol) watching a winter wonder land forming. Looks pretty now. By tomorrow morning, it's going to be a disaster. This is the view from my front porch as I look out the window this morning:

Yup I'd sayit snowed. Thing is that's the way it's looked around here for the last 3 weeks or so.

Line 1 is woefully inaccurate. ;)

So cute..

I just got done setting up Chloe's and Mommy's Valentine stuff on the dinner table. They are both home tomorrow, so they will see it when they come down for breakfast. :D

Sadly, I'll be at work, and missing out on the reactions..

Off to the rectangle too.. with a happy heart and glad to have my family around me. G'night Army!

Ray and Robin I hope you get definitive answers to what ails you!
My short story-back in April I went to my family doc to complain about my "arthritis pain" in left hip (from car accident many years ago I thought). He sent me for xrays to get checked out.I got home and had dinner and was watching TV when Doc called a couple of hours after xrays and said head to emergency room NOW!He will call and advise them I was on the way.Seems I had a AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) that was at 6.2 cm and needed attention.
After many tests next day I had a stint placed in my aorta third day in hospital.Spent my birthday in hospital during recovery.
I was lucky-I've known people who've passed away from ruptured aorta that didn't know they were in danger.
I am very grateful to the people involved with reading the xrays and finding the problem and to all involved with my surgery and recovery.
