Oh, I thought you were testing between bed and floor.. :)

Standing up seems so.. so.. tedious!

This may have been asked already, but I haven't caught up yet - how did the game go?

We dominated George Washington. The stadium (Due to the blizzard-like conditions) was only about 90% full. Despite this, the loudest sound reading ever recorded at the Siegel Center was recorded on Wednesday Night, 107 Db.

Some would say it was only coincidental that I was there when this phenomenal sound event occurred. I don't believe in coincidence...

Hula one night after work I was sitting in a pub that serves Guinness on tap having a few when a man walked up and said he noticed what I was drinking . He turned out to be a teacher from Dublin on vacation in NOLA . We sat drinking and talking until the sun came up and when we got up to leave his legs buckled and I had to grab him and prop him up . He had a confused look on his face and I leaned over and told him my mother's name is McCaffery he laughed his azz off and said " Oh my God I've been trying to outdrink another Irishman " . true story , hell of a good time .

ROFLMFAO :lol:

At least it's good news that the fever is running down. It could be a reaction to everything you went through yesterday, but more likely you were already getting a temperature, but other things took your mind off it. like the way to rid a toothache is to hit someone over the foot with a mallet. :D

It donned on me this morning. They gave me a tetanus shot Wednesday night. Probably a side effect of that.

Good Morning Army. Feb 14th, St. Valentine's Scam. I wonder how long St. Valentine had been dead before someone figured a way to commercialize his death. Here is my Valentine's Day Horror Story;
Several years ago, I was driving for the now-defunct Merit Distribution Co., a subdivision of a subdivision of WalMart Inc.. We basically hauled food from the WalMart Food Distribution Centers to WalMart Supercenters. One year, on February 14th, I went to work around 7am and did not stop until 3am the next day. Even though I'd been to four WalMart Supercenters across the Carolinas, I completely forgot to get Mamaw a present. Not Good.
Dispatch would call me @ 6:30am with info from the daily load sheet, and let me pick my runs. the next morning I was awakened early to the distinct sound of;
"Did you forget something, Mr. Schultz ?" Mamaw asked, and I thought 'Ohh Sheeeet....'
Not a good way to wake up on February 15th. So I tell Dispatch what happened, and that I need something 'Short and Early' so I can get back home and try to set things right.
"You Forgot Valentine's Day ?!?
So I get an early run from Pageland to Rock Hill (maybe 40 miles one way). Get to Store, bump the dock, run inside and look for the Receiving Manager. Tell him of my situation and ask if he handle the paperwork while I shop...
You Forgot Valentine's Day ?!?
So I go into the front of the Supercenter to the Women's Section. I'm standing there, not knowing anything about what I'm looking at or looking for. An Associate, a short middle-aged woman, approaches....
"Can I help you find something ?" she asks.
"Yea. I drive for Merit Distribution, bringing food to WalMarts, and I got real busy yesterday..."
"You Forgot Valentine's Day ?!?
"Yes, I forgot. But she knows how hard I work. So I'm thinking buy her a nice outfit, and take her to Dinner, and maybe that'll smooth things out."
"OK. What size does she wear ?" the lady asks.
(pause)... "Uhhm... I don't know. What's the right size for Short and .....y ?" I ask.
"What does she look like ?" the lady asks'
"'Bout like you." I respond. She sells me on a size 12 slacks and blouse combo. Mamaw wears size 10.
"But I asked the woman the right size for Short and .....y, and THIS is what she sold me !" I pleaded.
Wrong Day. Wrong Size. Wrong Answer.
Now Mamaw gets CASH. $50 on St. Valentine's Day, $100 on her Birthday, $200 on Christmas Day.
Trust Me, Fellas- It's always the right size, It's always the right Color, and ALWAYS Well Received.

Happy St. Valentine's Day, Army. Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

Getting a call at 8:30 this morning, chatting with my wife, and listening to my daughter going "MENTAL" in the background because she found the heart shaped chocolates, and the gorgeous white teddy bear holding a hand-made card, makes it TOTALLY WORTH IT for me. YMMV!!
