Oh my! You are so going to enjoy those short weeks! :w00t:

Normal dental office days are Monday-Thursday (around here), but a few are open 1/2 day on Friday. I needed the extra $ for medical bills and I'll probably miss it when it doesn't come. But the extra time with the family is worth it. :)

Way off topic... I'm at yoga today and the first pose is child's pose, I'm minding my own business breathing deeply and slowly as instructed and in my nose wafts the most horrible heavy sulfur fart. It was not me, I swear. It's so hot and humid in there it was just about unbearable. The instructor went and got a candle from the front lobby and that helped a lot.

I'm happy to report it did not happen again today.

April, that made me laugh out loud. Of course, guys love fart humor.

I can't say I've ever crop-dusted a yoga class. But I did peel one off on an elevator once when I was by myself . . . and then a lady got on at the next floor. She was bitter about it.

I'll bet you crop-dusted aisle 5 at the supermarket though. :)

Off to the rectangle myself. Next time I'm gonna hire a kid to shovel. A (old) man has got to know his limits.

Gnite Brats. :)

Ray and Robin I hope you get definitive answers to what ails you!
My short story-back in April I went to my family doc to complain about my "arthritis pain" in left hip (from car accident many years ago I thought). He sent me for xrays to get checked out.I got home and had dinner and was watching TV when Doc called a couple of hours after xrays and said head to emergency room NOW!He will call and advise them I was on the way.Seems I had a AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) that was at 6.2 cm and needed attention.
After many tests next day I had a stint placed in my aorta third day in hospital.Spent my birthday in hospital during recovery.
I was lucky-I've known people who've passed away from ruptured aorta that didn't know they were in danger.
I am very grateful to the people involved with reading the xrays and finding the problem and to all involved with my surgery and recovery.

I'm beginning to think mine was a fluke thing but I'm doing the balance exercises regardless. The things I was worried about got checked and the tests returned as great. Sometimes, I do believe, if you listen to your body it will tell you when something is NOT the normal pains that come with 'aging'. It's a good thing you listened to yours. :)

You might not have known it was as serious as it turned out to be, but you did know it wasn't the normal irritant. :)

Good gracious! Triple As are no joke. Good thing they spotted it.

This is the pose we were in, you can see how it would facilitate passing gas. You can also see how it would basically be blowing right toward the person behind you. The problem was it was one of those heavy lingering ones and the humidity trapped it right under my nose. It's a natural body function, I'm sure the woman was embarrassed. Especially when the candle came in :)

Goodnight! Back to work for me in the morning.

Im back for a few.... just got finished watching "Bad Grandpa" with Johnny Knoxville...my cheeks ( facial) hurt from laughing so much...
its like a seriously hard "Candid Camera" type setup... preying upon the unsuspecting public... definately pushes the limits on being PC...
R rated due to analogies of sex parts being visible... if you can handle rough humor, this is a good movie....

NOOOO! Guiness and Huntsman! Sheesh

ROFL

I've been mostly offline for the last couple of days, so I'm way behind on the thread. I've scanned the last couple of days of posts and here's what I THINK I've learned:

1. If you think Bud Lite and Red Stripe are really good beer, then you'll LOVE Huntsman. ;)

2. Ray cracked his noggin' and his gall bladder flew out.

3. You guys are a really chatty bunch when you're snowed in.

TOOOOOO much information Pappy! That's definitely on the same level as Rays gallbladder flying out and the mysterious farter in Hot Yoga....

BTW, my HC 3.1 arrived. It's huge. I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to vape with it or use it in the bedroom with my wife.

Way to Go! 40 Years! The only thing I could wish was different is that I'd met my sweetie earlier so we could have more time together.

Lol! Heya army-I've been in "lurking mode".
They've been trying to wear this old man out at work-have been too tired when I get home to do much but read-and spend time with the wife and son.My 40 year wedding anniversary is coming up in a couple weeks and spending time with the wife in between reading here and other R/L stuff.
