Yup that explains it , if you tasted mine you wouldn't recognise it as PB .
General: I'm sitting here vaping some 2/17/13 PB and I think it's great. I don't taste the subtle nuances in juices that some people do, but I don't get any taste from this PB that I would call "dry".
I also have a bottle of 11/20/13 PB and a bottle of 2/3/14 PB (which is still steeping). I've got some old 3ml HHV sample bottles that are cleaned up. I'd be happy to load them 3 of them up with 3ml of each vintage and send them to you if you'd like to try them.
Actually it might depend on the battery used , I know people have fired them subohm before .1.1 ohms would conk out a SVD
Got home a bit ago from taking wife out to Outback for anniversary. Too stuffed to move-just vegetating for now.MMMmm-bloomin onion appetizer and prime rib for me-she had Alice Springs chicken -her favorite.

I haven't vaped either one of them. I've been savoring the 2/17/13 bottle. I discovered it in the back of my vape closet about a month ago. Didn't remember that I had it.
I'll save some of the 2/17/13 bottle just in case you decide you want to try it. The 2 newer bottles give me 80ml of PB, so I'm well stocked for a while. Although, if I find the 2/3/14 bottle to be really good, I may order 100ml of it just to make sure I have it in case of a change in the extract.
Adam started a new batch of PB about Xmas 2012. I suspect that bottle you have from 2/17/13 is from that batch. That was the dry cigar stuff. I had a bottle of PB V1 that went south on me at 10-1/2 months. I was savoring it but hung on to it too long and it went to the rats. Not sure what condition your 2/17/13 stuff is in. Since it was put up and never opened it might be OK.

I think tomorrow morning will be coil making time.Wife goes to work for half a day so I'll have time.
I bought a 30 ft roll of 30 gauge Kanthal to practice with-already had about 5ft each of 28 and 30 gauge.
I've been checking links I got here and will be shooting for 1.3 to 1.5 ohms which is a sweet spot for Provari (I'll have one soon as tax refund gets here). Plus that will still work on my SID and be safe for Nemesis mech mod with all my batteries.
I'll toy with both silica and cotton wicks for fun to see which I like better.

YUM! My baked ziti was a hit with my son...we ate every last morsel. Dusty was right...it's similar to lasagna.
