Shame the Lion Sleeps Tonight (we-oh-we-ee 0h we oh bom ba day) ;)
I've been working some Powder Keg in a VV Grand. More Volts, more Coconut. Less Volts, more Rich Chocolate.
Maybe I should ask BunnyKiller to examine this...

It's funny you should mention this. I dusted off my Caravela clone, and made a dual 0.7 ohm coil set up on my IGO-T, and let it rock. I tasted more almond and a bit more coconut, similar to your experience. I figured I was doing about 4.2/0.7 = 6 amps, or 25 watts (4.2 sq/0.7). Oddly, I noticed no loss of flavor or burned taste, like I have always associated with sub-ohm vaping. It may be my wicking method has finally gotten to where I can "keep up" with the sub ohm coils...

In any case, the throat hit was overwhelming, so I had to take short puffs. I am gonna keep playing with this mechanical.

Good morning Army. Had plans for working outside today. Going to mount some motion lights but after hearing a high temp of 25, and staying out too long last night. Chaining gates and adding padlocks and a few other security measures. I think this old man will stay in where its warm.
After finding out my house is being staked out for a possible robbery. I wanted some "extra protection"

Good morning all you early risers :)

Mr. Lion, I hope you got a healing sleep. It's rough when you have to work a weekend.

I slept 12 hours last night. I didn't think that was possible for me. I guess I was tired...

I feel pretty darn good this morning. So yeah, you could call it a healing sleep.

How'd you find out your house was being staked out?
Horrible feeling I'm sure!

Just got finished watching the tribute to the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' performance on Ed Sullivan. That was a nice trip back through memory lane. I was a young kid when that happened, but I remember watching it on TV and my dad commenting (negatively) on their hair and the music.

Young people probably don't realize how different the music was from what we were used to hearing. Yes, we had Elvis. And, yes, they were heavily influenced by Little Richard and Chuck Berry and some of the old blues players, but that stuff wasn't being played on the radio in 1963. The Beatles' music really was revolutionary to us.

It's funny to look at their hair back then and realize how normal it would be today, but how wildly radical it was at the time. We had never seen anything like that. We were used to either crewcuts or the slicked-back look like Elvis, Buddy Holly and the doo-woppers.

I DVR'd that last night, I hope to get to see it at some point today/tonight.

Bronze,

I have my Gaia and Maple, Eh? cap opened and steeping since Friday morning. Have you delved into either yet?

My nose test on Gaia tells me it is a long-steeper, I was thinking at least 10 days. But the Maple one is begging me to try it...

Dripped them both Lion. Actually all three new ones. Maple, Eh? went back to steep mode very quickly as all I got was grass. Even Adam told me it takes a while for the maple to show up. It tasted like raw Huntsman to me...very unsteeped Huntsman. Gaia, on the other hand wasn't too bad for being 6 days old. I was able to vape it. Gaia is most definitely an Earthy flavor. Not quite as grassy as Huntsman and it has a malt note to it (I think Bappo mentioned it had similarities to a single malt scotch). I don't know about that because I'm not a scotch drinker. But there is a dull sweetness upon exhale. I'm thinking Gaia will be an amped up Dark Horse. Very Earthy! That makes four HHV's in the Earthy column. Huntsman, Dark Horse, Maple, Eh, and Gaia.

I think you may have just made the Lion's day with the single malt reference.. I'd be shocked if he's not yet testing Gaia. :)

As for me, 50ml samples ordered last night of Maple, Eh! and Gaia. I also included 50ml bottles of Huntsman and Legend with the order.

I probably will not get around to trying them before I get back from India, middle of March.
