Like a Beretta M-91? ;)

I have a couple of Glocks. They will do in a pinch. But my favorite home protection device is my Mossberg 500 12 gauge 6-Shot. It is a nice tactical pump shotgun with adjustable stock. Simply actuating the pump is enough to frighten any but the most determined intruders.

I think you may have just made the Lion's day with the single malt reference.. I'd be shocked if he's not yet testing Gaia. :)

As for me, 50ml samples ordered last night of Maple, Eh! and Gaia. I also included 50ml bottles of Huntsman and Legend with the order.

I probably will not get around to trying them before I get back from India, middle of March.

I haven't touched them...yet. But based on Bronze's early review, I may delve into them this very evening...it may be tomorrow because I am taking my mom out to dinner tonight.

Soon, though.

And yeah, Dusty, the single-malt reference did make my ears perk up...figuratively speaking.

I use a revolver for home protection. It came down to that or a shotgun. It's basically six of one, half dozen of the other. They both have their pros and cons.

How'd you find out your house was being staked out?
Horrible feeling I'm sure!

Things were moved around in the backyard. And strange foot prints left in the snow.
Neighbors noticed the things moved also. And pointed out the footprints leading to the double gate.
Like they were getting ready to snip the cheap lock and back a truck in.

All I can legally say is I can carry open in my state.
Called the make my day law by some. Others say "stand your ground."
And my sweetie is a shooter also :)

I have one 357 packed with 7, 38 cal jacketed hollow points. I figger that should do it. I'll either be dead or the intruder will be dead beyond this single weapon.

Agree. It's all over in 1.2 seconds. But remember I used to have to wear a uniform and a badge.
And besides I like things that make loud noise.
Wonder if that has anything to do with hearing lose.

Dripped some Gaia this afternoon. Add this to the earthy family of flavors from HHV that also includes Huntsman, Dark Horse, and Maple, Eh. Gaia is less grassy than Huntsman and Maple, Eh with a malt note but definitely Earthy. It's an interesting flavor that I am still trying to wrap my mind around. It might be more of a hopped up Dark Horse.

Dark Horse on steroids :) i love the stuff even more so than Legend. My initial order of it is just about gone and it didn't get any time to steep. Going to re up a couple big bottles soon

Yup I noticed , I keep a Colt 1911 45 acp loaded with 185 gr +p+ alongside my bed and a SW model 27 .357 magnum with 125 gr hollowpoints as well and the wife has her Ruger speedsix .357 with the same loads alongside her , racking a round into the 45 will get someone's attention pretty quick .

It's funny you should mention this. I dusted off my Caravela clone, and made a dual 0.7 ohm coil set up on my IGO-T, and let it rock. I tasted more almond and a bit more coconut, similar to your experience.

A touch more on the voltage and I, too, am getting a distinct Almond/ Coconut taste from Powder Keg. I will need to order a larger bottle of this juice next time around....

Dont be scared, I have yet to find a NON NET from anywhere that I actually like.............

Have you ever tried a well-steeped Heavenly Tobacco (six weeks +) or a steeped Caramel Apple Tobacco ? I cannot speak for you, but these are non-NET HHV Tobacco liquids that are quite popular. I include HT in every reorder now..

Don't want to hear the rack. If it ain't loaded and ready. Well your late to the game.
As for one gun. What if I need it NOW and it's in the other room. Just saying.
And ask anyone who approached my car when I was driving to OKC.
"Don't get close there, this is my square". "Don't get close to my square". Personal space is all mine!!!!!
In my avatar, there were 3 guns with us. Never know who you'll met on the open road.
And don't make my little Sweetie mad. She knows what to do. :)

The two .357's are always loaded , I keep a full mag in the Colt but if your familiar with the 1911 you know it is single action auto , can't be carried with the hammer down with one up the spout safely , but the Ruger and the S&W are ready to rocknroll so I won't be late to the party TNT .

As for the 911. Agree but that's where the saying comes from "LOCKED and loaded". :) Just think for a moment. The 911 is the same style as a hammer revolver. Like my King Cobra. Or any single action. Safety on, flip then switch.
I know they also call it condition one and condition two but the wife's cat is always jumping on things she shouldn't jump on and granted it would be a freak accident for the safety to catch on something before it hit's the ground but crap happens so I'll keep it the way it is , I still have two revolvers ready to go so I'm not concerned about the extra second to chamber a round in the 45 .

I have some of each Caramel Apple and Heavenly Tobacco that I got in early December. I have sampled them from time to time, but I havent jumped into them yet.
Both seem promising based off of early dripping sessions.
