Mornin'.. The great white hunters are in the woods, opening day of rifle season. Got my first Christmas gift ordered, for my niece. It's from a place that never has BF sales, but did offer free shipping before Tuesday. I don't plan on leaving the house for Christmas shopping this year.
Me neither. For the third year in a row, the goal is 100% cyber shopping.

Good Morning, Army.

Went towards kitchen for third cup of coffee earlier this morning, and Daughter was standing at French Doors looking towards the far left corner of backyard.
"What's up ?" I asked
"A Big Ol' Buck and his ten ladies just walked across the backyard" she replied.

Love seeing that! On my first cuppa PaPaw..need way more!

G'morning Army..I slept like 10 hrs. Sheesh I feel like a zombie now. This no sleep for 3 nights and sleeping into the morning on the 4th night is for the birds. I need a new doctor because mine don't believe in prescribing anything for insomniacs. :(

We haven't gone Christmas shopping in years. It's been so long I can't remember the last time we went out to shop for Christmas gifts. Part of it started because we were having everything shipped, to their houses, from the place we ordered from.

I miss (only a tiny bit) the hustle and bustle of the stores at Christmas.

Good Morning!

Need moar coffie <~~ on purpose for BK ;)

Good morning Army.
Found out I can't draw my unemployment oklahoma doesn't think a mother in law is immedeant family.

But I have been invited for a hunting trip.
And the unknown numbers still call.
If it weren't for emergencies. I'd just unplug the phone.
Be blessed and be safe.

The body only needs a few hours of sleep, but the mind needs six to eight hours to refresh itself. Mankind has a 'natural' sleep cycle developed over the Ages, often referred to as rem ( for Rapid Eye Movement, a symptom of deep sleep). rem cycles usually happen shortly after midnight, and again an hour or so before dawn. These cycles help the mind more so than the body. That's why they are important, and also why one feels so 'wiped out' if these cycles are interrupted. A person can adjust if they have a decidedly different routine every day for several weeks, but it only takes a night or two to revert back to our natural sleep cycles. Which is why 'Early Risers' (ie Truckers) usually struggle early in the work week after living more 'contemporary' hours over the weekend.

Try milk and cookies (but not sugar cookies) around an hour before you normally go to bed. Thank me later, after you've had some sleep.

I've had this problem since I stopped driving PaPaw..If I had a sleeper in my house I could crawl into for 4 hours at a time I might be okay. Idk, I've pretty much given up on a normal sleep though.

Yeah pretty much..I even thought to buy a Diesel small truck. I think it was the Dodge that didn't require DEF. Yeah I'm sure it was the Dodge Ram.

Night Army!

Just finished getting some toppers cleaned and filled for tomorrow. Heading out to SIL's house on the other side of town while EGAT fixes some power lines in the neighborhood. They gave us all notice that power will off from 8AM till 3PM. Taking MIL with us of course. Fun day head...

...not.
