I've been going through some of the NET's that Bridget so kindly sent me , and I'm really liking the Candied Cavendish from TPR , it's definitely a banana tobacco but it's not as sweet as most of HHV's NET's , the balance is superb , the Cavendish really comes through . The Burley with candy is fruitier and a lot sweeter , vapable in small amounts for me . I can't quite get my head around the Net.com juices yet , they probably need more time to develop .

Hey Yeah, I heard you got a nice x-mass present from Bridget. So Cool of her to PIF! Waiting for your take on the Orange Blossom Honey.

I'm glad you posted, because I was starting to worry about you. :glare:

Aw, sorry, I didn't mean to get y'all fretting 'bout me. Say. last I read you were thinking about getting Rose V2 or something. How'd that turn out? I wanted to tell you to think twice about the Rose, it's a nice tank when set up right, just a bugger wicking and re-wicking since the coil is recessed in the ceramic cup. I followed Retic's advice and use a twisted 30g, 1.3 ohm in it which is a lot sturdier than single strand coil. But yet it's still... The Kayfuns are sooooo much easier to manage.

Right now the orange is predominant followed by the honey , the tobacco's not there yet so I'm gonna give it time . I was really interested in this one because BK and I made a batch of mead with orange blossom honey that was fricking delicious . Hopefully it balances out a little more .

IDK, I thought the small (6ml) sample I got was pretty freaking good and I didn't age it at all - it did take almost two weeks to get here. How old is the one you got?

I'm used to mine now and building and rewicking don't present me with any problems . I'm running 24 & 26ga 3mm macros around 6 wraps , the shorter , thicker coils leave more space to work in so it goes quickly with a pair of hemostats . Definitely a learning curve starting out though . LA , KK and I are waiting on Aqua V2's right now , should be fun . :)

Well I decided I needed practice making coils. LOL. I am just pitiful. The first one I made looked good. Longer legs on them are a must, if I am going to be able to get them on there nice and secure. The first one I got it too tight. So when I pulled it up, the wire snapped. This is after fiddling with it. Well, I decided to try another. This coil looked pretty good. I got it locked in all pretty. I was starting to get proud of myself. Then I realized I had locked in the wrong leg on one of the post wires. Things got a little hairy, but I pulled it off. I am going to practice more.

I think I am caught up on what I must have for now. I bought wire, the Kayfun o ring kit, 2 18650 batteries, blunt tip bottles-soft squeeze 5 pack, Aqua 2. I locally bought a couple of drill bits, and a small cheap precision screwdriver kit, some o rings. Doesn't sound like much, but it was. The juice was AVE Blend 4 (I like it, but it must steep for a good while for me first...and two sample bottles from there) I already got my HHV order that I already mentioned. Oh, and my Koh Gen Do came in too. Dusty already shipped the Panzer/Magma, and Lori is sending me a couple of Kayfun's with a shiny new coil installed. I am very pleased to say the least. :)

I have been trying to learn about mech mods safety, and battery safety, ohms law and all that complicated stuff. Mercy, I think my brain is in overload.

What do you use the hemo's for?

It's not hard as long as you know what the continuous amp rating of your batteries is and never exceed them . Starting out I'd suggest you leave yourself a 25% safety cushion , ie if your battery is rated for 10 amps continuous don't exceed 7.5 amps with your build . This calculater will help . You know your battery is at 4.2 volts with a fresh charge and you should know your resistance , put those numbers in and hit calculate and it will tell you how many amps you're drawing from the battery and how many watts you're applying to the coil . Ohm's Law Calculator

They look pretty cool, but how do you fill 'em?
