LOL, talk about short term memory loss.... :D

I admit my short term memory is fading. There is no doubt about that. I've noticed it for about the last 5 - 7 years. If I don't make lists it gets forgotten. If I think to do something I had better do it right then and there because in a matter of minutes I will forget what it was I wanted to do. It's just the way it is these days. It was frustrating at first but you employ workarounds and it's not so bad.

Good afternoon Army!

I have been awake for a while but catching up on quite a few things.

You NOLA peeps should check out the Call to Action banner..... The places that these types of bills get turned down are because people show up and are vocal about not restricting vaping. Just sayin'

There is a bulletin point list that you can follow here: CASAA: New Orleans, Louisiana Call to Action: Ordinance would Ban Vaping Wherever Smoking is Prohibited

I got the email this morning..Isn't that a load of s.................................!

For batteries, there is nothing to it, on that calculator. The Steam Engine has the MVP2. But putting in the current (amps) is a little confusing to me. I always go by watts on my vw bods, which I have two. It has the MVP2 on there, and it says the mod may not be what it is said to get. A friend is giving me a mutlimeter, but I haven't picked it up yet. Once I get the current part, the ohms, and power are easy.

It's not hard as long as you know what the continuous amp rating of your batteries is and never exceed them . Starting out I'd suggest you leave yourself a 25% safety cushion , ie if your battery is rated for 10 amps continuous don't exceed 7.5 amps with your build . This calculater will help . You know your battery is at 4.2 volts with a fresh charge and you should know your resistance , put those numbers in and hit calculate and it will tell you how many amps you're drawing from the battery and how many watts you're applying to the coil . Ohm's Law Calculator

With mechs it's different , you input the battery voltage - 4.2 volts and your coils resistance in ohms and the calculater tells you the amps and watts , your resistance is your only concern on a regulated mod like the MVP , you need all the info dealing with a mech .

We did get a new Vape store there and their website lists the places vaping is still allowed. I will have to go in and check it out, see what I can get to support them. From their website it looks like they know what they're talking about, lists all kinds of safety stuff for new vapers, etc. It's the only B&M in the county outside gas stations and smoking shops that carry cheapie egos etc.
