Party at Dusty's house!!!! :vapor:

Have you ever been to Ontario this time of year ? The Ground disappears (snow cover) for months. Freezing is warm, sub-zero is 'getting cool'. After heavy snowfall, there is no scenery to look at - just a ten or twelve foot wall of slush pushed to the side of the road. And it stays that way until April or May.

You go right ahead. You'll be begging for Florida before you clear Customs.

Thank you Bronze. Copied and pasted to a document.

Paying $50 here, and a $100 there is bad enough for normal maintenance. But a $3,000 - $4,000 transmission or engine repair is devastating. Honda still makes an excellent car and if it is taken care of will last a long time. There should be a maintenance schedule in your manual. Might want to give it a look-see.

My Blackhawks lost the Winter Classic with 12 seconds left in the game. :(

That movie did more to falsely stigmatize the south than anything.

I think Driving Miss Daisy..although Hollywood all the way..did a pretty good job of accurately portraying both the accents and people of the old south and some of the attitudes.. Pretty spot on though for the early sixties..Like before all the race stuff really got going.

Good afternoon...well thought hubby was doing better..not so much he had a very rough night and is just resting today. I finally got the tree down, vacuumed, laundry going and a pot of chili I the stove for myself. It will get ate up this week. I seriously need to work in my attys but have no ambition. Plenty of time left in the day perhaps after a nap I will be in the mood. It's very cold here but suppose to get back to normal 30s in a day or two.

I think hubby needs to see a doc.

So while I was removing shrubbery light, outdoor timer and extension cords (it is Jan 1, after all) Mamaw was cooking homemade chili. At least she used 93% lean hamburger. Add chili beans, onion and spices. Couldn't resist if I wanted to. At least I stopped at one bowl (for now).

Collards with a ham hock..Boston Butts on the smoker....Black eyed peas in the crock pot with a ham hock..Cornbread and Kims making peanut butter balls..I'm doomed. :p

That's the funny thing.. there's still no snow on the ground. The one snow storm that we received, has long since melted!

Here's what I was busy doing in Chloe's room, when she came to get me for lunch..

It's some of her "artwork" from when she was younger. :)
