Looks like there must have been a bad moon phase or something....
my wonderful neighbor called code on me for my shop in the back yard due to some carpenter bees taking up residence in the structure ( overhang) behind the shop. I removed the structure and the bug issue... So code comes out to take care of it ( the complaint) and then they decide to throw on a few more items onto the list, one of them being the "structural integrity" of the shop itsself. There are 2 trees ( one each side of the shop) that overhang the roofline and allows the moisture to remain consistant, therefore wood rot has started to occur and a simple repair job would take care of the issue. Any way to make a long story longer... I had a court date with the city and code group.... they are forcing me to tear down the shop and not allowing me to repair it... Im gonna need to rent/buy some type of storage unit to store all my stuff in to be able to remove the building, also I will need to rent a dumpster to put the stuff ( building trash) into... since I have only weekends to do this demolition, its gonna take about 2-3 months to do this... and about 2000$... repair would cost about 700$

and these are the type of people making decisions on other million dollar projects... no wonder why the country is umpteen trillion $'s in debt......

Morning peeps. Yeah, sounds like the full moon got a hold of something there, BK, what a mess they've pulled you into.

Hope all the sick people in the thread find som relief soon. My shoulder bursitis is acting up and my back hurts. Grateful to be alive today.

Pawpaw, it angers me too the way your job is treating you. Hoping you find your dream job soon!

Morning y'all.

Retic, I definitely ditched that doctor right away. Its a frustrating system made worse by those who abuse it.

Papaw, I hope whatever you decide to do it gives you some peace and happiness

Steph, relax and take a hot bath maybe that will help?

Bk, dream job for me would be owning a salon (or multiple salons). I had the chance a few years back but the timing wasn't right with an infant and a one year old (found out later it was a good thing I didn't buy it, the previous owner screwed her taxes up so bad the new owner was left with hundreds of thousands of debts, plus behind in all utilities etc)

My first Employer in the Trucking industry told us "If you ever find the perfect trucking job, make sure they have two openings. I'm coming with you."
Five years later, that same boss lost $300,000,000, and 7,000 + people lost their jobs because that man couldn't keep his pants up.
There is no perfect job. MY current job could be a lot better if the so called Supervisors and Department Managers would just communicate amongst themselves. But they are all in 'CYA' mode 24/7/365. It leaves a lot of messes to clean up for those of us who work there,

I agree BK..either something is wrong with the moon or Orion is beating his Three Sisters. Someone may have put something in the water is also a possibility because I haven't seen so many people run right past full ...... straight into potato before in me life! I still can't get over how my nephew thought he could get away with the way he did me,..and old man. If I had been just 20 years younger he would have found himself picking himself up off the floor. :-x

Family...Sometimes that's not such a good thing..Here lately my ECF family is the only ones I wanna even claim.

Lord,.I apologize for that one right there,..and be with the starving pygmy's down there in New Guinea. :D

BK, that really stinks. I am so sorry to hear this. I couldn't come up with that kind of money. I hate neighbors like that too.

I may have to go to the doctor and get a shot for these allergies. To top it off, I have a tooth problem again. I must have been clinching my jaw in my sleep again. Pieces of one of my teeth started coming off last night. One tooth has been sensitive now for a while. They didn't see anything the last time I had x-rays...that was probably 3-4 months ago. No telling what this will cost to fix. I just hope it is an easy fix.
