I'm a little upset with Chimay... They stopped selling the bottles. You can still find some but the red was the first. Now it's in a four pack and instead of $12 or so it's $19. I know you get more with the four pack but still. I haven't been getting it as much because of that. I like Duval as well and it's cheaper. It's in a four pack as well.

Hmmm. I really enjoy the red Chimay. May have to treat myself to some soon. I had some Gulden Draak 9000 on tap over the summer and picked up some that I’ve been enjoying. Also 4 pack for $19. It’s a Belgian Dark Strong Ale. I like the fuller body of it vs the Trippels. It’s malty with a nice spicy note, almost like clove.

Well the rain quit thank goodness. I even got an alert of a flood warning designation. The creek was full blown white rapids out there behind my house, and I heard a tree fall. The water is several feet inside my fence. We may get a repeat on Friday. I am just relieved though, that it looks like I'm safe for the time being.

I’m so glad you are safe! You’ve had more than your share of flood worries. Hopefully you won’t have property damage to deal with.

Good Morning Army. Started on prescription (gabapentin) last night, woke up with merciless heartburn this morning. Among the warnings is interaction with other drugs, so Mamaw's reflux pills are no longer an option. Get some coffee and ride uptown for Tums. Plenty of Tums.

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

I believe the one you are looking for is called Tagamet? ( sounds right but may be spelled wrong)

I cannot believe you’re talking college textbooks! Feels like yesterday that your boys were both in HS and that was the big milestone! So what do the classes with no textbooks use?
The years are flying by for sure. I'm not sure on the books. He had to purchase a download for Algebra I think; something the teacher had made up. Books aren't as crazy expensive (so far) as they were when I was in college. Thanks to sites like Chegg for rental.

my trig class teacher wrote his own text book... compared to the other trig books "on the market", it was understandable... actually did very well in that math class.... altho calculus of several variables kicked my .... 2 times in a row...

all that time and money and I cant even remember how to do most of the math....but then again, I havent had a need to do it either ;) there was many times I heard people say " why am I learning this, Ill never use it in real life", tru, most dont ever use it again unless they are an Engineer etc... but the thought process is used all the time :) a good example is when you see all these people on here trying to figure out how to do the math for making DIY juice and figuring out the nic levels...

the main problem with education is that no one tells the kids its a way/process to teach/train the students how to think logically, most believe its just a time in our lives to learn stuff, to remember stuff, and to pull up the info when needed.

Speaking of teaching kids stuff, why did they eliminate teaching cursive in schools?

I keep trying to think of non nefarious reasons and I'm coming up empty.

Good morning Army.

Putting their signature on a document will be tough, don't ya think? Forget reading the original Declaration of Independence or The Constitution.
