Good Morning Army. Started on prescription (gabapentin) last night, woke up with merciless heartburn this morning. Among the warnings is interaction with other drugs, so Mamaw's reflux pills are no longer an option. Get some coffee and ride uptown for Tums. Plenty of Tums.

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

You can take prilosec with gabapentin..

I had heartburn when i first got hurt but doc said it was from the sheer quantity of medicine I was on rather than one particular med... but I do know you can take prilosec, just be careful to have a two or three hour space of time between taking the prilosec and taking the gabapentin. Dont take them at the same time... give time for the gabapentin to be fully in your system - if I recall correctly.

I haven't needed heartburn medicine since I stopped taking all the other meds, but doc had me on it for a while and that was how I had to take it.. separately.

Yep, that sounds about right. I did not have a conversion fee and it would have been about $65. I actually paid $52. They initially overcharged me (because I did not use the USA link). They double credited me and I paid only $52 but it would normally have been $65. Good luck with your Series B and let me know how it goes for you. Will you use power mode or temperature control mode?

What's a wabbit then?

Good news Pop!

And good morning Army!

Hi Bronze,

I contacted Jac Vapour to ask about the fee. Amy from their customer support contacted me straightaway and ask for a screen grab as their records only showed I had paid $63.22 which is what it said in my cart and was supposed to be. As soon as I submitted the screen grab, she replied and said sorry that they had charged some kind of sales tax, and I’ve been refunded the difference. YAY! So total cost with free delivery is $63.22. Very pleased with their customer service so far.
Do you remember how long it took from their shipped notice to receive? I may be out of town but neighbor will collect for me if so, and will give me something to look forward to after Christmas:thumb:

Seems to me mine took 7 - 10 days. Don't remember exactly. Some got them in a few days but most was a good week or a little more. They shipped them pretty quickly but it takes time to deliver them.

Never had a problem taking a teaspoon of baking soda in a half glass of cold water , It's old fashioned but it works immediately , taste's like crap though .

Hey BK, our water pressure here is 84 psi. The expansion tank said it is recommended not to exceed 60 psi. Probably explains why mine failed. But it did last five years. I'll take that.

is that city pressure or do you have an aux pump? also, since the pressure is that high, you may want to add a bit more air pressure to the tank to keep the bladder from expanding too much and breaking. and... is the bladder holding the water or the air?

Community well so it's a pump. Bladder holds air. I matched the air pressure to the water pressure

Speaking of teaching kids stuff, why did they eliminate teaching cursive in schools?

I keep trying to think of non nefarious reasons and I'm coming up empty.

    Good morning Army.

Putting their signature on a document will be tough, don't ya think? Forget reading the original Declaration of Independence or The Constitution.

I think that it is because no body can read another persons writing, I know I have a hard time with it. I was terrible at writing, once I started to need to write a lot at work, I just started printing everything. I remember that is what my dad did also. The only thing I write now is my signature, and no one can read it. I don't think that I even remember how to write anything else now, it has been to long.

You are correct. I can't read my own signature.

Practice over and over, just like when you were in school. It does get better.
And you are correct. I can't read my own signature because I'm lazy and it takes too long to write my name. I take the time to make the capital letters halfway decent but the rest of it is pure, unadulterated, chicken scratch designed to get done with it as fast as possible. It's legal and that's good enough. Beyond that, no one cares what my name is much less the readability of the signature. :)

my trig class teacher wrote his own text book... compared to the other trig books "on the market", it was understandable... actually did very well in that math class.... altho calculus of several variables kicked my .... 2 times in a row...

all that time and money and I cant even remember how to do most of the math....but then again, I havent had a need to do it either ;) there was many times I heard people say " why am I learning this, Ill never use it in real life", tru, most dont ever use it again unless they are an Engineer etc... but the thought process is used all the time :) a good example is when you see all these people on here trying to figure out how to do the math for making DIY juice and figuring out the nic levels...

the main problem with education is that no one tells the kids its a way/process to teach/train the students how to think logically, most believe its just a time in our lives to learn stuff, to remember stuff, and to pull up the info when needed.
He wants to be an Engineer. He was hell bent on being a Highway patrolman 9 months ago. When I told him he was signing up for a lifetime of nights, weekends and holidays he changed his mind pretty quickly. I agree on the logical thinking, but when you are there going through it you don't see that.

Good morning all. I've got 8 hours of Christmas music left to get through today. It's been playing non stop since Thanksgiving. 8 more hours!
