I guess I've been living in Texas too long. The few cold days we get each winter are miserable to me. Even when it's 35 - 40 and the wind is blowing 20-30mph (like today), the wind chill just freezes my hands.

I was out feeding the cows and checking the electric fence this morning, and it was miserable.

You mean going out in -30 degrees stalking a caribou and fending off wolves while you field dress it doesn't appeal to you?

So 16 for Xmas dinner tomorrow night. Coulda been a lot worse. Wont have a few families here because they're either Jewish or will be out of town.

Absolutely , White chocolate's even better , but for that apple bread pudding a caramel cream and Meyers rum sauce would be AWESOME !!!

I got back from my mom's a little while ago. I got to see my brother, sil, two nieces with their husbands, and my great niece. My kids will be coming here soon. A couple of hours ago it was so brisk with the wind chill too, Pappy. The wind died down a little, and that make a huge difference. Accuweather says it will be 25 for a low tonight. I'm going to have to bring my ginger in for sure, it is on the porch right now.

Evening....Happy Christmas Eve...Just got in from spending time at my sisters. It's a Christmas Eve thing I do. Got enough snow to cover the ground.. Saying one to two inches..(We'll see)

I wuz tired... layed down for a few minutes at 3pm and just woke up about 5 min ago... amazing how an intended 30 min nap turned into 5 hrs

Well I am relaxed and back home. The poor dogs were very displeased with me being gone so long. I got to see my kids and their spouses. Mom seemed to have a good day. The kids seemed to be in a great mood, and I think they all liked my presents. I'm diffusing some essential oil. I ate a late supper. Now I'm going to kick back, and have a glass of wine, and watch some Netflix. The dogs are playing. It's been a great day for me.

I've been baking all day and keeping ahead of hubby is a bit difficult - one pan of dinner rolls and one loaf of bread down today. .. lol. Trying to make for gifts and he wants to "test" them!
